why are people saying this Reboot is going to be woke? do they not remember the morals at the end pf every episode? Those damn ESS JAY DUBYOOS! What are they thinking putting more than two g-g-girl characters in it? Shows how woke everything has to be, even in a show called HE-MAN!!

why are people saying this Reboot is going to be woke? do they not remember the morals at the end pf every episode? And MOTU was always about diversity and accepting people who had clear deformities and such. Unless they were Evil. But seriously, did Kevin address that rumor about Teela's character?

Smith's denied that, but we've seen what promises are worth in Hollywood

Some more information from Kevin Smith regarding Revelation -It's definitely a 'family show', not something aimed squarely at adults, and there's no sex or anything. The show will simply have 'deeper conversations' -It will be nothing like She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and will be truer to the essence of the MOTU brand. He has respect for what the She-Ra team did but it's not what his show's about. His manifest is more in the vein of 'pure fanservice' -Because She-Ra is so much lesser known than He-Man, it was allowed a lot more freedom creatively to be different. This will not be the case with Revelation. They have to follow a specific mandate. Smith also admits he would not have taken the job if he were instructed to radically reinvent the brand. -The show is heavily influenced by the DNA that you find commonly baked into the Marvel Cinematic Universe gizmodo.com/he-mans-new-animated-series-looked-to-marvel-for-inspir-1847009592Revelations will also be covered on Netflix's fourth day of Geeked Week, June 10th

Can't watch with sound ATM...but looks really good.
(EDIT: But I saw captions, and thus saw a certain choice of song for the trailer...)

Looks great but while I love Hamill his skeletor sounds about what I expected and that is just him doing his Joker voice.
I need my high pitched whiney voiced Sekeltor damn it.

Yeah, have to agree re. Hamill and his Skeletor.
That's just too deep.
They could have either asked him, or used tech to make the voice a little more high pitched for the proper pop to it.
Oppenheimer is even in the cast as Moss Man, and while his age may have meant the couldnt do it fully, they could have at least used his base voice to help find the right pitch.
On well, I'm excited all the same.

Wow, I don't think I've see anybody try to do an "I Need a Hero" montage straight since Short Circuit 2. Personally I would've gone with "Only Solutions".

If you pause the trailer when The Sorceress is powering up (0:31), you'll notice {Spoiler}Faker is restraining her

Looks like once again Skeletor has become more than man, more than life... I am a GOD! Say what you want about that movie, but Frank Langella as Skeletor & Meg Foster as Evil-Lyn were awesome!
