Be it Film, TV, books, video game or other form of fiction. Which character deaths still piss you off? I’m not talking about the saddest ones, I mean the ones that whilst they might make you sad, the over-riding emotion you have from their death is “you bastards! Why did you have to kill them off?”
And as a general rule. Please be careful with spoilers. If it’s more than a couple of years old, then it’s fine. If it’s from the last year or two then clearly state that it’s a spoiler.
My first pick is Sam Becker from Far Cry 3. Yeah, I know he had to die really to push the plot to the conclusion but he was such a cool character. An utter badass but with a gentle side and a sense of humour, seeing him run into battle shouting “BLITZKRIEG!” always makes me chuckle.

I wasn’t really pissed off but I remember being bummed out when Vincent got shot in Pulp Fiction. Then he’s back because the movie is all out of order.

Kincaid's death in Nightmare 4. Was just unceremonious and not worthy of such an awesome character.

Oh and like every good guy death in the Potter books starting with Sirius and going on. Like, it became a checklist of how to piss you off.

I was genuinely furious with Robb Stark dying in the books.

Rebecca in Dead Rising 2. I don't know if it seems like it's mandatory in media, whether it's a video game or a movie, and in regards the two parties, action and horror genres that at least one of the major characters has to be killed off, but when I see the cutscene with her getting shot, it often pisses me off. Okay, I get that it was supposed to show who the real villain of the story was (Yes, TK was the main villain of the game, but you wondered who framed Chuck and had set the whole plan in motion) and to make us hate him more. But with all the stuff that she went through, being out in a zombie outbreak, getting abducted by the twin assistants/f-buddies/mercenaries of TK (Who happened to be adept at swordplay), getting caught up with a military sergeant with major PTSD, etc. and all it took was a slug to the head to finally do her in? Let's not forget how sudden it was. She lived in Off The Record, however, though that wasn't canon.
At least when Brad and Jessie died in Dead Rising 1, there was some reason behind it. That cutscene when Brad was about to turn was rather emotional, but at least he died trying to catch Carlito and Frank could put him out of his misery. Whereas with Jessie, when she turned, that was rather freaky, but like Brad, you could euthanize her by killing her zombified self.

I mean... without a doubt the Autobots because they were killed to make room for new toys, but Nightmare 3 is my favorite and it's bullshit mannn.

Darwin in whichever X-Men film perpetual answer. Lazy, lazy writing, because you just know they cared about the visual and nothing else.
Many of the Pacific Rim deaths in both movies, to be frank.

Pretty much all the Marvel villains who were one-and-done.
Norrington in the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and to a lesser extent Governor Swann. The story had gotten so bloated with characters that the writers practically said "Oh well, might as well kill 'em."
Cordelia in Angel. Not so much for the character, but for the IRL reason it happened.

Gwen in Amazing Spider-Man 2. I don't care if it's canon, they should have went against canon. Emma Stone was great as Gwen, and her chemistry with Garfield was off the charts. Cordelia in Angel. Not so much for the character, but for the IRL reason it happened. Yeah, that was complete bullshit. Joss can be a petty vindictive asshole, the handling of Cordy is a reason so many Whedon fans weren't really shocked when that stuff came out about him.

As the World Turn's Reid. The show had been canceled at this point, he was in a happy relationship and then ten days before the finale, they killed him off, so the show ended with his significant other mourning. I was sooooo angry.
