The last couple months I can't read for the life of me. My work schedule changed so hopefully it will give me more focus to start reading. Even audio books. Last book I finished was "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou

A Storm of Swords, third book in A Song Of Ice and Fire Mass Effect Andromeda Annihilation Can’t start my ASOIAF reread until a release date is announced for Winds. Haha probably a few more years until that happens. This is my first read through of the series. After watching the show it has taken a lot of the surprise and shock out of the books for me, which is why it’s taken so long to get through them. But I know a lot is different as well and I’m hoping the books continue to get better the more I read.

The Mote in God’s Eye - Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle
One of the best Niven/Pournelle books. An expedition to a new start finds a race of beings who could either be the greatest benefit in all mankind’s history or its worst disaster.
I find it funny that, having read some Niven stories and some Pournelle stories over the past nine months or so, I can now read a Niven/Pournelle book and be able to tell exactly which writer wrote each part. I’m going to grab another one and see if I can do it with that one too.

I am currently reading Ireland: A History.
And I'm three chapters into Emma, which so far is surprisingly dark compared to the Austen I've read before.

Just finished Taking Shape and I'm about to start Taking Shape II. If you're a Halloween fan, these books are a must.

Walking With the Wind: A Memoir of the Movement by John Lewis (with Mike D'Orso). One of those books that everyone should read, it's incredible.

Footfall by Larry Niven/Jerry Pournelle
Earth gets attacked by space elephants. My second favorite Niven/Pournelle book. Always a fun read.
At this point I have run through all the books I had gotten from the library book sale. I have a few things to re-read in the bookshelf and then I will need to start digging through my boxes in the garage. I know I have the Foundation saga and the Gateway saga out there.

Finished the Tony Atlas Bio. Wanted something lighter to read so grabbed the TPB of HellBlazer:Dangerous Habits. Sure I read these issues decades ago I don't remember much about them.
