On the one hand I'm so happy that Kairi can return to the ring so soon. But why in the hell are the WWE hosting shows on the 26th? That's Boxing Day, right? Can't Vince just let his talent spend time with their families considering they don't see them for 90% of the year?

Spine don't matter It is literally part of your job to stop a match if someone can't go But that's the culture of this company and it always has been, there's a pressure, whether it's only implied or policy, that the show carry on. Look at what happened with Owen. And that's definitely wrong, but no one's going to prematurely end a match or a show unless one of the top names in management says something. The Owen stuff is a completely diff beast tho That tragedy has not happened again and sadly in real time you couldn't really say that Owen was going to die Former NFL player Jevon Belcher killed his girlfriend and then killed himself in the parking lot the day before a game and the Chiefs played the game at home that next day. Sadly, things don't stop when tragedy occur. It should but it don't and it happens across sports Kairi situation is bad but not nearly that tragic. The management didn't scramble to find something. As I said before in an NXT tag title match, Bobby Fish injured his leg and they took him out immediately and put in Roderick Strong. We've seen wrestlers get taken out the match or covered up if they can't continue which is the job of the ref and others at ringside and none of this got through until it was too late

The point is that there's a culture of "finish the show no matter what". And if there isn't a Vince or a Triple H there to say "end the match" they are going to carry on because there's also a culture of fear in this company.

It's a thing in the UK that's like a day off; so it's not a thing in the states?

I don't agree with that You can finish the match without Kairi, the important point is she wasn't protected like she should be. Once again, you had veterans backstage who know better or should know better. HHH has gone out and stopped a match himself, the precedent is there but the people in charge didn't do their job Rules and structure are put in place for things like this. Enzo got concussed a few years back in a match against the Vaudevillains on PPV and it was thrown out immediately because the ref did their job. The fans know what throwing up the X means, there is no excuse for the people back there to have sat on their hands

It is a thing in Canada though, so it's understandable to get confused about it. I assumed Yanks got it off too for most of my life.

Na, typically most corporate jobs aren't on it next day but other jobs will be Considering Xmas is on like a Tuesday, there is a good chance i'm going to be ghost that whole week except for Monday

It's the best time of year box office wise for house shows.

It's Sportskeedia but if they did blame them, and they don't seem to from booking wise, then I'd pretty much be more done than I would be because that'd be real head in the sand shit. But again, they don't seem to and if anything, did a better job than anyone else around them did.
Of course SK isn't the ideal source, but Colohue was also one of the first to report on Kairi's injury being checked out after the show.
Bryan was actually the first person to report on Kairi being checked out. Not Colohue.

Prichard yeah but bear in mind Heyman let wrestlers go to the ring on acid if he was in the building at all, and his best friend is the worst human being in the world

I wouldn't say fire them but best believe their will be some type of turnover with people getting demoted or the very least losing money out there pocket for incompetence

Probably for the best to keep her out of action a little longer.

That is for the best. You never know what type of post concussion syndromes she could experience so no need to rush her out there at least to be in a match physically
