She badly wants to go out there and show she can go and she is all good out but this is a case of doing the right thing and saving someone from themselves.
She does not need to wrestle for the rest of 2019 but by the rumble she should good to go.

Right call to pull her to be on the safe side. There's a lot of events in that period of time, remember a couple of years ago these were the shows where Paige took the bump that ended her career.

Their lack of protocol leaves them little choice but to be ultra careful with her after the fact. We’ve had Bree/Liv, Goldberg in the Taker match and now this. They really need to acknowledge this being the same thing as someone breaking a limb out there.

As much as it's the wrestlers' responsibility to take care of who they're in the ring with, people are going to get hurt. The whole support structure built around this to keep wrestlers safe is on management, ringside personnel, and refs so that if an accident or injury does occur, there's people whose job it is to drop everything and take care of that problem. The fact we've got footage of Becky trying to sneak Kairi under the ring to get out of the lights and is taking care of her while the people running the show whose job this is don't do anything is absolutely baffling to me. There's times where wrestlers blow a spot and you can see them left unsure what to do because their matches are so micromanaged and laid out for them, but here you have people improvising to cover for everyone else not doing their jobs. Also, as communication goes in things people brought up, definitely hard to know you have a concussion and tell someone that even when you're not trying to use the brain power to speak a second language to do it. It's crazy. I took these screenshots of what happened prior to the spear/powerbomb spot. Here we clearly see this ref check with Kairi, we see Becky talking to the other ref about the match and we see Charlotte and Asuka looking at Kairi and the ref, Charlotte's waiting for the signal. The ref then leaves and Charlotte gets the spear ready. These pictures say a lot about the inner workings of a match. Like, she's clearly seeing if it's ok for her to continue and it should be the ref's job to stop the match or switch things up here. I don't get it. It's a brain injury. It's impossible to pick out a couple of stills and ascertain what's going on in that particular moment. There's a reason why, in the NFL, people get dragged into a tent for five minutes while a doctor diagnoses whether they have concussion or not. It's way more complex than armchair doctors are making out.

On the one hand I'm so happy that Kairi can return to the ring so soon. But why in the hell are the WWE hosting shows on the 26th? That's Boxing Day, right? Can't Vince just let his talent spend time with their families considering they don't see them for 90% of the year? WWE generally runs a full schedule 12-26 to 12-30. It's the best time of year box office wise for house shows. It’s when they typically do a house show in Toronto (this year on Saturday, December 28), so that holiday week bump certainly helps.

It's way more complex than armchair doctors are making out. We've seen numerous situations where someone's received a brain injury in this company and people have acted accordingly. We saw one this year when Liv Morgan was knocked out and with that particular scenario the ref didn't even need to speak to Liv to know what to do. Brie and the ref coordinated to get Liv out of the match and she ended up fine. In this case however even when the ref was speaking to Kairi, even after Kairi spoke to Becky and told her she was too hurt and even when the refs were listening the match continued. Afterwards it took 1 powerbomb spot to keep Kairi mostly of the match when prior to that girl couldn't even walk to the correct spot and yet the refs were looking the entire time.
You don't need to be wearing a white coat to determine she's too hurt when you hear her clearly telling Becky she's too damaged. Let alone when directly after this you talk to Kairi.

To be fair, we don’t know what exactly was said do we? Kairi and Becky may have been saying that she’s fine.

To be fair, we don’t know what exactly was said do we? Kairi and Becky may have been saying that she’s fine. Which goes back to my initial point of "it's not Charlotte's fault, Charlotte thought she was fine and it's up to the refs and officials." I've been saying that it's their job to look into this rather than the wrestlers. They do this every time somebody has a spot that someone potentially might be hurt and here, when someone was really hurt, it still flies by. The reality is that Becky realized Kairi was hurt because Kairi told her she was hence why Becky was using light chair shots and why Becky rolled her under the ring in that one clip.
This shouldn't be up to the wrestlers because if that's the case there's no reason for refs to check the wrestlers given they're not doing their jobs in the first place.

Like you showed and described, Becky told one ref whilst the other was checking on Kairi and setting up the next spot with Charlotte. Why didn't that official tell the other what was going on? Why didn't the second official see what was going on and try to find out somehow? Why was the spot being planned when you can clearly see something was wrong? Again, so much mismanagement from all sides with the people in charge needing to come up with a plan that, at the very least, helped Kairi get hit by less. Even if it ended up as Asuka 2 on 1 vs. the faces, if it had to go that way so Kairi could be diverted, so be it to be frank.

Meltz and Alvarez trashed the refs and officials for this when they reviewed the show. Said it wasn't Charlotte's fault nor the fault of any of the wrestlers, it's the fault of those others because it's their jobs to keep a look out on this. Before I took a break from wrestling to start my new job, the school I went to had a meeting before one of their shows and said adamantly that we need to be more prepared for in case accidents happen. As in more people need to come forward as first aiders or train if they can and we need to be able to jump in and protect the people working if something were to happen. The two head trainers were first aiders and we had a trainee medic on staff to guide people but the point was, they didn't want to be negligent to workers as well as, in a minor point, risk the venue's reputation or the ability to use it again. And this was an indie that was attended, at most, by about 200-300 people. This is a Forbes 500 billion-dollar entertainment company that's shown to millions of people every week worldwide. For THEM to not be prepared is inexcusable. Not even the indie I used to work for did anything like that. When I was concussed I was taken off shows for two months, accused of faking how spaced out I was and was expected to earn my spot back in training. Sounds like you train with some good guys.

By all accounts, even with different philosophies, the schools here treat people well. I knocked myself on the head off the mat and was pretty much told to get out the ring as soon as after being briefly checked. Nothing happened from it but you appreciate that, you know.

This week's observer will be interesting because we'll have more details then. The second left probably wanted to have the spot happen because he knows this involves Charlotte who Vince thinks is the greatest female wrestler on the planet and if she doesn't get her spot then it might have costed the ref his job from Vince so he didn't want to do that so you went ahead and did it despite the fact that everything looks kind of weird and wrong

I agree with others that I've said she shouldn't wrestle again until at the very least until the first Raw of 2019 and, to be safe, I would say the Rumble.

Becky sweeping her under the rug like a kid who broke a vase in the hope nobody notices has cracked me up.
(Supposing Kairi is ok and it's fine to joke about!)
