Bad execution, but hardly the end of the world. There are young talents trying shit like this all over the world every weekend.
It doesn't have the sense of danger Ki/Red had, and it doesn't have the physical literacy Ospreay/Ricochet had - where if you were familiar with their movesets most of the moves they were doing are setups for flashy stuff they regularly do.
The worst of it is this isn't even what Jordan Oliver is good at. He's good at being a loathsome, dirtbag kid who looks like he'd rob your house and sell your shit for drugs (And I mean that as a compliment). He should be leaning into THAT and not trying to be one of these dime a dozen flip guys. He's three years into his career. He'll get better.

Also stuff like this isn't even that new. The Low Ki and Amazing Red matrix sequence was the same sort of thing and that happened in like 2002 which is nearly 2 decades ago and the wrestling business seems fine..... RVD, Jerry Lynn, Super Crazy stuff in ECW.

That HBK/HHH European Championship match looks less phony than this shite.

The response has been interesting from wrestlers. A lot of older wrestlers didnt like it, and are getting crap for saying they didnt like it. Hell Fit Finley said he thought this was very phony and that's it, and people are mad he didnt give constructive criticism. His response was basically, I didnt like it that's okay, if you did that's okay, but I dont have to elaborate.
Joey Ryan also said that when you are over the normal rules dont apply so just keep trying

That particular clip sucks so hard. But I love good chain wrestling or counters. I hope these two dudes don't get more over from it, but only because there's better workers who would have done that exact sequence move for move and made it actually look real.

This is the place where you are supposed to try out new stuff.

I don’t think it was one of the better examples of this sort of opening, but it was alright. Definitely a lot of ado about not much here.

The crowd liked it and no-one got hurt, so who gives a heck?
There plenty of other things in the industry more worthy of vitriol.

Hello shitty little ring. I wouldn't be confortable working in that.
I don't mind the flips. But there's a lack of attacks amongst them. It got better at the end.
I'm doing Fire Pro edits at the moment, and for research I watched an FMW show from 1993 taped on handheld which had this horrible old comedy wrestler named Mr. Chin having a "match" VS young lion Masato Tanaka, yes, that Masato Tanaka.
Mr Chin gave him a wedgie. Mr Chin bit his dick. Mr Chin grabbed himself a handle of Masato Tanaka's package. He whipped him with a large elastic. He tried to submit him by stepping on his stomach with a wooden sandal. And then he fanned on a clothesline he could barely do and got rolled up, 1-2-3, Tanaka won.
1993, in Japan. Chin was all about that chinko. Made Danshoku Dino and Joey Ryan look like eunuchs.
Wrestling comes in all kinds of stews. I don't have to like them all. But if some people liked it, that's okay. Fans entertained and colleagues getting booked. Perfect match.

Sort of going through the motions. It looked like shit. It looked like two guys swing dancing. But it also looked like 2 guys half assing the hot dogging. I will say it is shit because it was so unimpressive and added nothing Like what would make that standout is a pwg crowd outright hissing it I remember in 2008 there was brandon cutler and and pre brian cage brian cage doing this kind of flippy do. Only to recieve hisses and golf claps I miss pwg of that day

It looked like they were dancing, there wasn’t a hint of simulated combat which is what wrestling is supposed to be.
