Listen, I won't lie. I want Okada and Yoshi Hashi to win the tag titles just because It's probably the only way I'd be interested in a YOSHI-HASHI angle. It'd actually be kind of interesting, Okada trying to make something of his friend. The group fired Captain New Japan before he assumed that gimmick due to losing too much. YOSHI-HASHi can't be said to be much better when they have Tanahashi extend an offer to mentor him, and then take it back in disgust, or have, what was it, commentary or one of the wrestlers who joked Tacos should be sent on excursion to Siberia? He's got to be the lowest guy in the totem pole of the stable, and I'm including Eagles and Mikey in that estimation. I'd love to see if the Rainmaker can change Yoshi's fortunes. Yea, it just makes sense as a feel good story for Okada to boost his friends confidence and for the Rainmaker himself to "seek a new journey" with something you don't expect. It has a ton of potential to work since it will instantly add eyes to the tag scene and allow Okada to stretch his legs more as you see he had a ton of fun as wacky balloon Okada Either give me that or Ishii/Goto

CHAOS hasn't felt like a separate stable since White and Gedo left, they're pretty much the Sekigun's rebellious brother at this point The funny thing it seems like an eternity ago Nakamura started this group and they obviously have none of the identity they had before Hell, it's not even like we got a CHAOS vs BC fight when White left to lead BC. We got some separate ass whoopings but CHAOS itself is the biggest stable that is a non stable in a long time They were originally an Inokism revival group, but now they're just a bunch of goofballs (including Okada) and Ishii because why not

When RPG 3K eventually start doing solo work I can see Sho being hyped up big as that guy behind Okada

CHAOS needs some refreshing, be it new members or just different ways of handling some of them. I guess Suzuki-Gun doesn't NEED new people, but I dunno, losing Davey Jr., they could use a new heavyweight tag team. KENTA brought a lot of life to Bullet Club, but I still feel like they could use a little more oomph.

You can argue they didn't even need Shingo even with Hiromu out but he fits them like a glove and belongs in the group CHAOS needs a refresher. As much as I feel like BC was just a group of nothing with Jay White, they are finally starting to shape form as shit stirring heels. While White might not be a vocal leader, they are following him in the way he does shit and KENTA has taken it to a new level as the "shooter" of the group Suzuki Gun I think can get by on Minoru/ZSJ tag teaming or even ZSJ/Archer but they could use another heavy tho. If we ever get Sabre Gun, I can see a rehaul for sure with Taichi and Archer probably just going their own separate ways. TAKA adds a lot to the group and hopefully they bring him back once the scandal dies down

Naito even took him under his wing, and his look even has "Stardust Genius" undertones. I just don't know how you get YOH in the place where he belongs, under Naito's wing in LIJ.

A phenomenal, once in a lifetime match, one that was the culmination of possibly the best booked story I have ever seen in wrestling.
Everything WORKED. The loss two years ago. Naito finally accepting the IC title after years of disdain for it, which opened up the door to the rematch with Okada. The callback to two years ago with the Stardust Press. The Stardust Press not being enough to get it done, but the Destino is. Naito showing respect for Okada after beating him, showing that he is finally at peace with the last six years. It all worked perfectly.
And I f***ing LOVED the KENTA beatdown at the end. For those saying that it should have happened at New Year Dash- no, you do it here, because the heat was off the charts, and it was the right kind of heat. The fans want to see Naito kill this little prick. It was a money angle, and it was the absolute right time to do it.

DON'T DO IT!!!" when Naito went for the Stardust Press... You don't get that level of buy-in that much anymore.

And how about the symbolism of Okada kicking out of the Stardust Press? As always, the Stardust Genius couldn't put Okada away, so it was up to El Ingobernable and the Destino to get the job done. This pro wrestling thing, man. When it's done this well, there's nothing else like it.

As much as I feel it was 2 years overdue, I still appreciated the moment of Okada putting his fist up to more or less say to Naito "You earned this." It was a lot like Rock finally getting his big Mania win over Austin.

That just makes me think of Liger pinning people when they were asleep. Wasn't Honma the one who was nude? I love that even asleep, Tanahashi kicked out at 2. True ace.

I’m sorry I was drunk as shit and annoying and basically ex communicado myself from posting again, but shit Naito winning is gonna go down as such a historic moment and I love it. Of everyone in NJPW history he gets that moment

Of everyone in NJPW history he gets that moment I promise I'm not trying to be all "I told you so" here, but it's what I've been saying in these threads for two years- patience. Naito was always going to get that win over Okada in the Dome sooner than later, and in my opinion the loss two years ago made the match this year all the more better.

Kind of felt like CHAOS going back to their roots and maybe those three were going to start their own thing within the group, but that ended up going no where.
