The Shield and at least one of its members has been in or near the main event scene for more than 8 years.

I admit I didn't read al 10 pages, but I would say ECW reunion shows.
In 2005, for the most part the ECW guys still looked the same and could still go at Hardcore Homecoming and One Night Stand.
In 2010, just 5 years later, the same dudes showed up at TNA Hardcore Justice looking like shit and stinking out the joint.

If you want to see the horrors of the ravages of time, look at Jeremy Borash during the Spike era of TNA and look at his first appearance when it started airing on Destination America. It's only a few years but it looks like he aged like 30 years.

Orton is just behind Taker for most full time years straight at almost 19 years, which is just 3 years behind how old he was when he debuted in the wwe and 5 years behind his age when he first won the world title

Shawn Michaels From how he looked starting with the Rockers to how he looked when he went single to how he looked in full Kliq/Coke head mode to his return in 02 to his Crosseyed look in 04 to his starting to bald and cowboychap look in 05 to his final match with Taker in 10.... to his full on crazy Hobo look in the Saudi match. That is a journey right there !

AEw just had a tag match on Dark with all four participants being the sons of Attitude Era stars: Austin and Colten Gunn, sons of Billy and Terrell and Terrence Hughes who are the twin sons of D-von Dudley.

-Taker was a main event star at the same time as Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena, and the Shield were. -Bray Wyatt, who faced Taker at mania 31 was only 3 years old when Taker made his debut and wasn’t even born when he made his pro wrestling debut -MJF who is in the inner circle was only 5 months old when Jericho made his debut for WCW

After watching Wrestling Bios on youtube(great watch for longtime fans by the way) covering the Canadian Stampede PPV, I just realized that four of the five members of the Hart Foundation(Owen Hart, Davey Boy, Jim Neidhart, and Brian Pillman) are no longer with us. It's leader Bret Hart is the only surviving one. Sad since it's been 23 years ago.

Real: Sinclair has owned ROH longer than the amount of time ROH existed pre-Sinclair ownership.
Kayfabe: The 10 years between Bret Hart using a crooked ref to win the tag titles to being cost the World Title by a crooked ref.

This September, CM Punk will be gone from the WWE for just as long as Bruno Sammartino's first WWWF championship reign at 7 years, 8 months, and one day.
When Roddy Piper made his surprised return in the Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon street fight at Wrestlemania XIX, it was 18 years after the first Wrestlemania where they(Piper and Hogan) were on opposing teams, More time has passed between Wrestlemania XIX and now than it did with Wrestlemania I.
Next year, JBL will be inactive as an in-ring competitor longer than his WWF/E run(from January 1996 to April 2009).
Triple H has now been employed with the WWF/E for more than half his life.

These are literally all horrifying. The most horrifying will be when someone debuts in WWE who has never known it as WWF. Has that happened yet?
Also, it's not quite what you're asking but I love that Roman Reigns is the first Mania main eventer to be younger than Mania itself
