Wrestlemania I is as long ago now as 1950 was back in 1985. That is frightening....

How's this for horrifying? Drew Carey's 2011 Hall of Fame induction is closer to his 2001 Royal Rumble gig than it is today.

Not really a passage of time but One Man Gang was 39 at Hero’s of Wrestling, meaning he was only 28 doing Akeem the African Dream

Once I got older, it dawned on me how young a lot of these guys really were back then. Some of them were practically kids themselves...

Weren't Big Boss Man and Earthquake something, like, 25-27 years old when they had their runs with Hogan?

Bossman was 25 during that big money house show run with Hogan in 1988-89 and Earthquake had just turned 27 when SummerSlam ‘90 took place.

I mean... Goldberg's son going from a small chubby kid to a teenager being almost as big as his dad in just 4 years is scary to think about.

My God he looks like he would be older and on the other hand, he aged really well, IMO.

Jeff Hardy's current WWE run has been longer than his 2006-2009 run, where he ascended to the main event.

Today, he is about to turn 40 and still looks 30. He just doesn't change.

Sting was known as being the Franchise of WCW, having worked in it (originally in the form of the NWA) for over 13 years.
This September, Miz will have been on the main roster (not counting hosting appearances, or developmental time before that) for 15 years.

Talent like Rok-C and Julia Hart were born after WCW and ECW folded. One of them should make a reaction video to old footage of those promotions.

we're three months away from the 10 year anniversary of the beginning CM Punk's 434 day reign.

Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 35 was the first time the show closed out with all the participants younger than the Wrestlemania event itself.
Later this week, CM Punk will be gone from the WWE longer than he's been part of the roster(if you're only counting his main roster run). His first appearance was on June 24th, 2006 at a house show, with his last one being at the 2014 Royal Rumble on January 26th.
In less than a year, it'll be the 10 year anniversary of The Rock vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania XXVIII.
Sad one, especially for anyone who's a Beatles fan, Wrestlemania X-7, which took place on April 1st, 2001 is closer to the night John Lennon got killed on December 8th, 1980. Incidentally enough, it took place on the same night in the same city(New York, NY) Pedro Morales beat Ken Patera to become Intercontinental, and first Grand Slam Champion.
Speaking of John Lennon, at this point he's been gone longer than his actual lifetime(October 9, 1940 to December 8, 1980).

Not to be a total downer, but on a personal note, my Dad passed away in July of 2000. I remember my Mom telling me last year that he has been gone for a longer period of time than the entire amount of time that my Mom knew him. That was a hell of a gut punch.

The opening match of this year's GCW rSpring Break had Dave Penzer brought in to announce the opening contest between Starboy Charlie and Billie Starkz. Neither person in the match was alive at any point while Dave Penzer worked for WCW, or when WCW existed at all.
Yes, it's been long enough since the Monday Night Wars that wrestlers that were not alive during that time are starting to make waves in the indies.
