I applaud them for putting all the precautions possibly in place but, if it all goes left, it could hurt AEW's reputation permanently and irreparably. Fact is, they haven't lost much if any money during this pandemic. Even if they did, The Khan's are billionaires, they could easily put aside some of their money to keep AEW afloat. You don't become or stay or a billionaire by throwing good money after bad. They own Fulham.

“We can’t shoot the crowd if you’re not wearing masks.” Bro. What’s wrong with that?

It's a business, not a charity, and the costs of not producing new content would be enormous. How much money should they just give away before they decide to cut their losses, as we still have no real idea of when normalcy returns?

“We can’t shoot the crowd if you’re not wearing masks.” Bro. That's a good point though, don't give people camera time who aren't following the rules, they don't deserve it and they'd be putting the company in a bad light. Nice to hear the mask thing was heavily enforced throughout the show.

Yeah, this week's absences seemed random enough that it may be people who got the thing and don't feel like opening up about it - or aren't tested positive yet. Archer they had to spell it out because he was advertised, but if Cage is just waiting on a test result, then they can just quietly let him not wrestle since everyone knows that his match was canceled.

Nick Jackson was also not on the show tonight, remembered the promo was just with Matt
Might be a thing of delayed test results rather than positives too, I rememeber that happened with Tony

f***ing yikes, lmao. Again, did we really need audiences? The answer is no and y’all did it anyway and that’s the infuriating part. Even with all the precautions, you’re putting unnecessary stress on that community with all these goofs coming out of town to congregate.

There are no official COVID confirmations other than Archer who was off site though. No word on any positive COVID confirmations at Daily's yet, till that happens idk what throwing shade at having crowds does for anything.

www.fightful.com/wrestling/exclusives/covid-19-hit-multiple-wrestlers-who-appeared-early-september-aew-tapingsHope they have some in-depth contact tracing so they can figure out the "patient zero" for the positive cases. All it takes is one person to infect a lot more. Might be best to try and figure out how to make a bubble environment and do block tapings for a few weeks' worth of programs. We also don't know who, besides Archer, has tested positive (who got it from a family member). The article makes it sound like it was connected to the indy talent that worked Dark tapings, but they're also not outing anyone who has it.
It doesn't seem likely that it's related to the limited audiences attending, especially with how separated the audiences are from the talent. But it also goes to show you that, short of a establishing a bubble, with a virus as contagious as this one, it finds a way.

This is why people get tested before they go in. The guy points out that they do testing, and this is indie talent. Its going to spread with the indie guys who dont do testing when they go to their shows. The reason why there hasn't been an outbreak from March until September is because of their procedures. Now that a lot of the talent is out there at shows with little to no procedure, this is going to happen.

Let's hope no one off the show tonight tested positive. Cage is working another show Saturday, so he isn't. Probably safe to have some talent sit out who might've been near any positives though which may have been the case with Reynolds saying he's fine just not there right now.
I doubt it was the audience, since they're so far away, but it might be a good idea if you do block tapings to stop either having new Indy talent show up for a bit or limit AEW Talent's indy dates. You can never really be too careful.
But yeah it's as others have said, Indies aren't all gonna have the same testings and protocols in place, especially smaller run ones, might be best to have AEW DARK just be matches with the people you know right now.
