I sure am glad that they made Kofi Kingston and his world title run look like a joke to set up Brock vs. Cain. Well worth it. Still boggles my mind that people thought Kofi would be fine or recover after that debacle. Dude feels like his entire title run has been completely forgotten, and Kofimania was just a year ago, it's pathetic how much of an afterthought they really made him. A Big E vs. Kofi feud would have been amazing, they have main eventer in Big E, and that would have kept Kofi hot and bring Big E to the next level. I guess New Day sells to much merch? Usos vs. New Day part 1264 it is...

I tend to think Xavier Woods being hurt put the kibosh on any New Day related stuff for the time being. Why not try Big E out as a singles guy and let Kofi/Xavier go for the tag once Woods is back?
The Cain signing.....I've got nothing. Can't work, can't talk, no charisma. A triple threat.

I think he had knee surgery. Yeah he needed the surgery before WWE even signed him. Which makes me wonder why they couldn’t wait until his knee was fixed to debut him. Scott Steiner syndrome, they signed him knowing he was hurt, but it was oh so important they have a name to job to an overpushed heel. They put him out there anyway, figuring they'll find some out in the contract after the job.

I mean all you can do is laugh at this point.
The whole Cain Valasquez "run" is a great example to use to explain how shambolic and sloppy the WWE product is these days.
They offer huge money to an ex UFC guy, that AEW were apparently very interested in, bring him in and have him get squashed in a faux MMA style match in Saudi Arabia. They don't let him do any of the cool lucha spots he was doing in AAA, he's just portrayed as a boring crappy MMA fighter. And then that's it. He never appears on screen again. And this was their big angle to end the Smackdown debut on FOX! They thought this would entice old viewers back!
Plus of course they had to completely crush Kofi and send him back to the midcard looking like a geek to set up the epic WWE title match between Brock and Cain.
Just a complete disaster in every way.

So was this better or worse than TNA’s Tito Ortiz moment?

So was this better or worse than TNA’s Tito Ortiz moment? At least we got Anderson's reaction gif from that, if nothing else.

So was this better or worse than TNA’s Tito Ortiz moment? I remember something like 10 years ago when I'd dream of seeing Tito and Rampage in wrestling and what let downers they were excluding maybe the A-Team skit and that had about zero to do with actual MMA.

Or maybe, like when you have a few million dollars in your pocket before you fart, then afterwards you notice your pockets are now empty. So was this better or worse than TNA’s Tito Ortiz moment? At least we got Anderson's reaction gif from that, if nothing else. Yeah, beat me to it: a MMA debut without broadcasting 3 shots of the former Ken Kennedy scratching the back of his head? No Buys!

I guess New Day sells to much merch?Usos vs. New Day part 1264 it is... The New Day has repeatedly said that they have zero interest in breaking up. There's also the fact that they aren't just a team in the ring they are a team outside of it as well. In regards to the latter, they signed matching multi-year contracts last year.
