Tiny Lister's entire fictional fight record has to be pretty anemic. Hahahaha! I legit laughed out loud (LLOL?) at that one.

I legit hate that Kofi's run was ruined for... that.
On the other hand, Cain probably got a hell of a payday and his knee fixed for free just for losing a fake fight to a guy he already beat in a real one. Say what you will about guys like Brock, Cain, Goldberg, etc. but I love it any time Vince takes a bath and the talent get to take the money and run.

Yeah I definitely don't hold this against Cain at all, I'd probably fleece the old nutbag too if it were me.

A Big E vs. Kofi feud would have been amazing, they have main eventer in Big E, and that would have kept Kofi hot and bring Big E to the next level.
I guess New Day sells to much merch?Usos vs. New Day part 1264 it is... The New Day has repeatedly said that they have zero interest in breaking up. There's also the fact that they aren't just a team in the ring they are a team outside of it as well. In regards to the latter, they signed matching multi-year contracts last year. And??? They book the show or something?

If there's one lesson to be learned from the Shield's time in the WWE (And, going back even further, the clique), it's that there's strength in numbers. Vince likes having the 'E be a dog-eat-dog environment because it helps to make sure that you're just another cog in the machine. One is easily replaceable if it gets squeaky. 3 or more starts to get a little harder, especially if they've gotten themselves over.

His whole "Millennial" diatribe from a few years ago always felt like code for "WHY CAN'T THEY ALL MOSTLY BE COKED UP BACKSTABBERS THAT I CAN EXPLOIT BETTER, DAMMIT?!?!"

hope he can work some big AAA shows again when big shows can resume. I love Tarus. It really sounded he wanted to wrestle instead of doing Brock type matches, Vince had different ideas. I was glad to heear he wanted to be one of the boys, instead of a part timer, but he's getting up there in age and his knees are made out of silly putty. Losing a match to Brock Lesnar isnt a career killer, I can see him having a decent somewhere else.

I dunno, to me it more sounded like a man whose badly lost the plot in regards to declining ratings. He sounded more like he decided the best course of action was to just last out like a child and blame others for his own failures.

Are there any other main eventers with a 0 per cent win rate in wrestling? He had one match, and it was for a world title. Who else fails that spectacularly, and only ever fails? Wasn't he the first match on the show? Can you claim he is a main eventer? That's neither here nor there. He had one televised match, and it was for a world title. I can change the terminology if you like to 'world title challengers' or something else but it's kinda sucking the fun out if the discussion to quibble over that.

Not really since by your logic, Taka was a main eventer as he had a televised world title match - that lasted longer too - but whatever. I didn't think someone getting fired was a fun discussion either. Different strokes, I guess. Have at it.

No, I'm just saying that this is something that often gets brought up, by fans and by writers but the idea is always shot down. They clearly have a say in their characters which they've earned by being one the highest merchandise sellers in the company. And??? They book the show or something? If there's one lesson to be learned from the Shield's time in the WWE (And, going back even further, the clique), it's that there's strength in numbers. Thanks for reminding me about that, it's a great example.

At least his shocking debut led to, uh, ratings plummeting the next week and subsequent weeks until the show was forever stuck in 2.5 territory, while Brock f***ed off to Raw just to render the whole premiere especially pointless. If I was a FOX executive, I’d be pissed off about this.

Leave the memories alone. Remember when Rey peed his pants and cried, and cried, and hid behind Cain crying and screaming in terror? Crying and squealing, defecating himself out of fear. Sure made Rey look good. Wait, what? Please tell me this didn't actually happen. Rey Mysterio one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling peed himself out of fear and hid behind Caine Velazquez for protection?
