I think Cain could have been good if given time. Hell, he looked smooth in the Saudi match and he was hurt and we've seen his lucha stuff already.
I guess this is a purely money based decision.

Last I heard he confirmed he was going to enter the Royal Rumble then never did. Well Velasquez was telling the media that he was going to be an entrant in the royal rumble. It's what they WWE were telling him, but when it was time for the rumble he was told that there were no plans for him to be in the match. Source: The Wrestling Observer newsletter

So much for him, it sucks that they had to obliterate Kofi to get Cain/Brock, hopefully Kofi gets another title win someday though it seems unlikely.

What a run, hey? Right up there with all the greats.
Like, it's not every day you can say that Kizarny had a better run than a legit MMA champion. At least THAT kooky bastard won a match on TV.

They legit ruined Kofi Kingston for nothing and they will never be able to live it down. One of the hottest things of last year was ruined for what you could now say was a legendary ton of wrestlecrap now that we saw the "Full run"
It started like shit and ended like a silent fart, f*** you Vince.

This is the modern day version of WCW signing Warrior. They brought a guy in and had no idea what to do with him other than let someone get a win back, except in this case it's even more absurd since it is Lesnar getting a fake win back from a legit loss.

I love that in the last six years, Vince has done everything he made fun of WCW for.

Well the least they can do is make a best of Cain Valesquez dvd. If they want to rake in the money the WWE will package it with the best of Braden Walker dvd. This should cover all WWE expenses during this time

Leave the memories alone. Remember when Rey peed his pants and cried, and cried, and hid behind Cain crying and screaming in terror? Crying and squealing, defecating himself out of fear.
Sure made Rey look good.

Building an angle around Brock getting his "win" back in a fake fight over a guy who kicked his ass for real is the most Vince thing ever.

Sacrifice the title reign of a popular babyface champion (making them look like a joke) so we can pay an exorbitant amount of money to a guy to sink the ratings, lose one match in minutes, then waft off like a fart in the night.
Vince McMahon: business genius!

Are there any other main eventers with a 0 per cent win rate in wrestling?
He had one match, and it was for a world title. Who else fails that spectacularly, and only ever fails?

Imagine signing a dude to a lot of money just cuz he can lose a make believe fight to a guy he legitimately crushed 10 years earlier and that's all you do with him.

I looked it up and Zeus literally never won a match on WWF television: www.cagematch.net/?id=2&nr=2023&page=4

For the record, he had two matches in WWE. There was a tag match on a live event in Mexico.
