The Batman: TAS thread got me thinking about this.
What are some superhero shows, either animated (which was the primary idea for this) or live action that you feel don't get talked about too much, either positively or negatively.
I'll start with one that you would think gets talked about more but doesn't really: The Ruby-Spears Superman.
Made in 1988 post-Crisis, this attempted to bring Superman in cartoon form back to TV after the final Superfriends season (Which could be another show if you want to talk about that) in time for Superman's 50th Anniversary. As you can see at the end of that intro, we had comic writers on it, and though it lasted only one season helped to bring a more modern look on things Superman (including the first animated Luthor to be a businessman). Plus, it also gave Wonder Woman her first non-comic post-Crisis appearance.
So have at it!

X-Men Evolution never gets brought up much but it was an excellent show.
Also I haven't seen Wolverine and the X-Men mentioned since it aired ... but then, it was very forgettable

The 1980s version of Space Ghost never gets brought up whenever people debate the 60s show and Coast 2 Coast

Bannana man needs a big screen adaptation. Or a place in the avengers.

Fantomcat, from the same studio that made Danger Mouse and Count Duckula.

I mentioned this on this forum recently: The Tick cartoon. Certainly not forgotten, but it seems like it should be a kind of benchmark that inspires cartoons forever, and it wasn't.

I've been rewatching this on the DC app for the first time since I was 6, and it's a lot better than its remembered for. Like, they were trying to make a genuinely compelling show that just happened to feature a superhero. John Wesley Shipp was actually a really good Barry Allen. I think it's biggest downfall is the obvious aping of the previous year's "Batman". They turned Central City into a low budget Gotham, and even got Danny Elfman and Shirley Walker for the music. Cool, but made it seem too much like a crappy Batman instead of its own thing. Also interesting was how they tried to rework Jay Garrick into being Barry's older brother. It was an unnecessary choice, but showed that they'd researched the material, which for 1990 is crazy impressive.

Came in here to say this. Really liked it as a kid. Spectacular Spider-Man is one for me. Wonderful show that I really wish had gone on longer.

Their take on a Reverse Flash where he's essentially kind of a Bizarro had a kickass suit.

Also the 90's Iron Man cartoon (which was also kind of a Force Works/mini-Avengers cartoon) had a baller theme song.

Bannana man needs a big screen adaptation. Or a place in the avengers. This was going to be my answer. I can’t remember the last time I thought or heard about Bananaman honestly.

I wasn't really looking forward to it because of the title, but it wasn't really as Wolverine-centric as that title lead you to believe. He was just putting the team back together, basically. They teased doing an Age of Apocalypse adaptation at the end and I was looking forward to that. Was genuinely saddened when it got cancelled.

Speaking of the '80s Space Ghost cartoon, its sister show Teen Force was one of my faves when I was a kid. Years later, I found out the characters were designed by none other than Jack Kirby. Too bad it was never popular enough to get a revival.
Thundarr the Barbarian is another short-lived '80s show Kirby worked on that needs more love.
