Fantastic Four, the 1994 version. Season 2 and up. Like any of Fantastic Four Cartoons never get mentioned. the 94 version, the 60's version (without Johnny) and the early 2000s version

Also the 90's Iron Man cartoon (which was also kind of a Force Works/mini-Avengers cartoon) had a baller theme song. there's also the 90's HULK cartoon that they tied with that and the Fantastic Four cartoon... What about NIGHTMAN! Based on the Malibu Comics...uh... comic >_> there were also a bunch of those cheap syndicated super hero shows... like the marvel property Mutant X ... legally distinct from the X-men! becuase Fox sued them... and then the company behind the show sued Marvel because they thought they could use the X-men licence!

The Tick show starring Patrick Warburton that only lasted a few episodes. It was freaking hilarious.

The weirdest thing about the Nightman show was that it was made after Marvel bought Malibu, so in the beginning credits it would say "based on the Marvel comic book".

You're thinking of the DePatie-Freling version from 1978 with Herbie the Robot. How about...The Thing (who didn't meet Fred and Barney)?

Also the 90's Iron Man cartoon (which was also kind of a Force Works/mini-Avengers cartoon) had a baller theme song. there's also the 90's HULK cartoon that they tied with that and the Fantastic Four cartoon... I'll see that and raise you the 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon. It has, AFAIK, not been seen since the 80s, and isn't even on Disney+. Which is why one may see it as underrated. But it's a pretty good interpretation, even though Hulk is more of an obvious hero who gets along with humans (granted it's usually the other protagonists like Betty and Rick). I do need to watch the '96 Hulk again though. If it's like Fantastic Four Season 2-on, I should be satisfied. (I haven't been as impressed by the Iron Man toon of this era) Going back to the early '80s crop of shows...how about Spider-Man (1981)? Again very decent interpretation of the comics of the time given '80s cartoon restraints. Not as much ongoing drama as far as Peter Parker's life for instance. If you don't want the silliness you see in Amazing Friends sometimes, but the same style of animation of the time, I'd recommend it. (though Amazing Friends is also quite decent as well) We all know the Superfriends, many of us love it for what it was. But the last season, the Super Powers Team, is an unsung bit of superhero animation. Would have loved to see the series continue in that vein. Heck, we got Batman's origin for the FIRST (in a zillion) times here, and a Death of Superman story! And speaking of Batman....the original Filmation series. It would not be out of place as a spiritual season 4 to the West series. As for New Adventures? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. But I'm telling TV execs, not fans, this. As it should have gone over 2 seasons. Justice League Action was a nice little show.

X-Men Evolution never gets brought up much but it was an excellent show. Also I haven't seen Wolverine and the X-Men mentioned since it aired ... but then, it was very forgettable I honestly thought Wolverine and the X-Men was really good. I wasn't really looking forward to it because of the title, but it wasn't really as Wolverine-centric as that title lead you to believe. He was just putting the team back together, basically. They teased doing an Age of Apocalypse adaptation at the end and I was looking forward to that. Was genuinely saddened when it got cancelled. I think I struggled because it was aimed more at comic readers. It seemed to throw too much too quickly without properly introducing them. Like Evolution, characters all had an introductory episode. Episode introducing Blob and Jean. One introducing Spike and Quicksilver, so it was easier to follow.

M.A.N.T.I.S. I never knew (or simply forgot) until recently that there were live-action wraparounds on that show for a while:

I never knew (or simply forgot) until recently that there were live-action wraparounds on that show for a while: If I ever knew that it was lost in the memory banks as I only even vaguely recall the show at all. Was it during this run or a later version they introduced Plasbaby? Another one, Misfits of Science Have always thought that one is ripe for a reboot even if just in premise and name.

Yeah, I was too young. I only remember ever seeing the Plastic-Man cartoon with the live-action bits. I’d see it at like 5-6am Saturday or Sunday mornings here in Los Angeles on Fox 11.

There was a Savage Dragon cartoon on USA Network around the same time as WildCATs. Oddly, almost nothing of it exists of it online

Ok, just to clarify this, when ABC Family first got the rights to Marvel's cartoon library in the early 2000's, they aired a handful of episodes of this to help promote the upcoming Ang Lee Hulk movie.

Bannana man needs a big screen adaptation. Or a place in the avengers. When I was a little boy, I refused to watch Banana Man. The banana pieces sticking out from the sides of his head looked like devil horns to me, so I naturally assumed he was the Devil. No thank you.
