There was a Savage Dragon cartoon on USA Network around the same time as WildCATs. Oddly, almost nothing of it exists of it online Also around this time was the short lived Ultraforce cartoon:

X-Men Evolution never gets brought up much but it was an excellent show. Also I haven't seen Wolverine and the X-Men mentioned since it aired ... but then, it was very forgettable Man I like X-Men evolution but it feels like it abandons it’s core concept at some point

It was great when it was doing its own thing without apology, but at some point someone decided they needed to swivel into becoming something more like their comic counterparts and it lost a lot of its uniqueness in the process.

Does Earthworm Jim count? Because Earthworm Jim should count.
It debuted in the initial Kids WB lineup, and if I remember right it'd come on at 10:30, right after Freakazoid, another superhero show that deserved much more than it got. Both were deep into absurdist or at times surreal humor, so the fact they came out around the time I was in fifth grade means I partially blame them for my warped sense of humor. Plus, hey, Dan Castellaneta even stuck around doing Jim's voice when they tried (poorly) to bring the guy to 3D.

I'll see that and raise you the 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon. It has, AFAIK, not been seen since the 80s, and isn't even on Disney+. Which is why one may see it as underrated. But it's a pretty good interpretation, even though Hulk is more of an obvious hero who gets along with humans (granted it's usually the other protagonists like Betty and Rick). Ok, just to clarify this, when ABC Family first got the rights to Marvel's cartoon library in the early 2000's, they aired a handful of episodes of this to help promote the upcoming Ang Lee Hulk movie. Also for a very short time it aired late at night on the weekends on DIsney XD.

Oddly, almost nothing of it exists of it online I remember Savage Dragon getting a lot of airplay on Teletoon up here in Canada because the first season was produced by Lacewood Productions (Now: Amberwood Productions) from my home town of Ottawa. Bonus fact: This same company was contracted to do the unseen WCW cartoon from 1999, the project never made it past the concept phase as it was cancelled when the company was restructured in fall of 99.

Oddly, almost nothing of it exists of it online Also around this time was the short lived Ultraforce cartoon: It’s no coincidence that Wild CATs and Ultraforce were pretty much cut from the same cloth as X-Men, undoubtedly trying to cash in on the success of X-Men TAS. Ultraforce’s intro even kinda does a riff on the X-Men intro with the characters and their big logos next to them and whatnot. IIRC, Erik Larsen hated the Savage Dragon cartoon for diluting his creation.

yeah Ultraforce... I'm sorry ULTRAFOOOOORCE!'s intro is designed to look and kind a sound like the X-men intro.

Does anybody remember Mutant X? I found it streaming for free on Vudu and Roku Channel a while back. It made me remember that my Fox affiliate aired this on Sunday afternoons in the early 2000's. From what I heard, it was supposed to be connected to X-Men, but the producers couldn't get the complete rights from Marvel.
Now that I think about it, there was also that 2007 Painkiller Jane show. It aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (now known as SyFy). I remember buying the DVD set of it because I am a fan of the comics, but saw that it was different from the source material. Sure, some characters were present, as well as Jane's healing factor, but it had more of a science fiction element to it. I wasn't a big fan but I am willing to give it another chance.
Also, does anybody remember Black Scorpion?

Fox sued Marvel because they had the rights to all the X-men and the mutants. then the company that made it sued Marvel because they were under the belief that the rights they had bought included the rights to use the X-men and had to hastily change things.

Yeah, I was too young. I only remember ever seeing the Plastic-Man cartoon with the live-action bits. I’d see it at like 5-6am Saturday or Sunday mornings here in Los Angeles on Fox 11. Yeah this was the syndicated version. The original SatAM one was just a block of straight up cartoons with most of the characters you saw on the syndies. Though I think the syndie version added Heathcliff, Marmaduke, Dingbat and the Creeps, and Goldie Gold and Action Jack. (Wiki claims Heathcliff and Dingbat were added to the SatAM block under the Plastic Man umbrella, though. As was Thundarr the Barbarian)

The cgi green lantern show. That was done real good. A shame that they cancelled it due to the fact that crappy ryan reynolds movie made anything green lantern radioactive for a time I'll expand upon that and mention its counterpart, Beware the Batman. Which was surprisingly good, and interesting in that they tried mostly to NOT feature A-list Batman characters. Still love their version of Magpie, with the Lady Gaga-type makeover and obsession with shiny things.

How about an animated show from the 80s about a superhero Teddy Bear from Wales!
The Spotty Man was voiced by Doctor Who actor John Pertwee
The villains was a cowboy named Tex and his minions a fat stupid man named Bulk and a Skeleton called umm Skeleton

Phantom 2040 was a great show and a look at the bleak future we're probably heading toward. It hardly ever gets mentioned as it's non Marvel, Image or DC, outside of videogame reviewers talking about how the 16 bit game was a hidden gem.

The Silver Surfer cartoon rarely ever gets mentioned. I mean it's not great but it does feature a lot of rarely seen characters in the marvel universe for the first time.
