There's not going to be any technical or chain wrestling here, just a straight up fight

Okada heading to the Quarterfinals to face Bone Soldier
I don't think there's ever been a finish to a match like the one we saw today

Caught the last 10 minutes of Okada-Nagata. Really liked the finish. Nagata can still go.

I'll admit it, the Hiromu/Yano finish is something I probably would have rolled my eyes at in WWE.
But now that I think about it some more, I actually kind of want to see someone do that to Cameron Grimes.

Really, it makes sense that Hiromu can out-Yano Yano.
Hiromu has also proven himself to be superior to Moxley, he overcame the one move more dangerous than the Burning Hammer: being taped to a young lion.

That ending to Hiromu/Yano was hilarious.
Also, it wasn't played up enough, but Ishimori finally beating Nobu one-on-one is a pretty big deal. Their all-time singles record prior to today was 11-0 with Nobu winning every single time, including four GHC Jr. title matches going back to 2006.

Would've been the 2nd time beating Ishimori in NJPW alone, and potentially would've made for an intriguing junior title match later down the road. Also just wanted to see Nobu vs Okada, since he's not getting any younger.

The more I want Hiromu to win, the more I think we are getting Okada/Sanada part 54
In fact I'm almost 100% sure Sanada is winning lol. Dominion sells out regardless due to a partial crowd and inflated ticket prices, and I don't think they want to do Naito/Okada in front of anything other than a big crowd if they can manage it. As much as I dislike him Sanada is super popular and someone NJPW should try to elevate this going year. He obviously won't beat Naito but the Dominion main and cup win will set him up.

I’ve got the feeling Gedo is thinking “well we planned Hiromu vs Naito, so why not do it anyway?”. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve gone back to the course they planned anyway (see Mox winning the US title back straight away).

I kinda agree and Hiromu/Naito is the best match they can do but Hiromu would have to top a heavy, possibly Okada, to get there right? I’m not sure if Gedo is ready to let him do that just yet. I hope he is lol
