So he isn't a Paul Heyman Guy, is what you're saying.

Heyman probably wanted to do a storyline where The OC cuckold him and align themselves with Balor.

Heyman: "AJ, I wanna give you the WWE Championship and have you defend it against people from all over the globe!"
AJ: "What the H is a globe?!"

I wonder if Styles holds it against Heyman that they fired Gallows and Anderson. Like, in the sense of “Well, if you booked them better, then they wouldn’t have been made expendable”.

Something along those lines I would think One min they are booked as a decent team and win the tag titles back as soon as they get with AJ and then they lose them and nothing happens

I could believe it if only because AJ's Raw run sucked. The Seth match was great and then he basically just kind of aimlessly floated around crushing midcarders.

This should really tell you how much they value AJ the fact he said nah put me back on SD where i'm comfortable and they said no problem
He has been treated way more like a main star in WWE then he ever was in TNA

Apparently this is the exact reason And considering WWE threw out that "Come back at a fraction pay" nonsense, I don't see Gallows and Anderson coming back, which probably just put AJ in shit spirits all around.

While I understand AJ's frustration, I'm not going to hold it against Paul Heyman if he doesn't see a lot of upside in Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

AJ and the OC always played second fiddle to what ever Seth and his lackys were doing. So he was stuck feuding with bland baby faces like Carillo and Alexander. The Black feud had promise but even that was over shadowed by putting over undertaker’s light show.
He was great in the boneyard match and money in the bank, I do enjoy AJ incredibly more as a heel but I don’t blame him for wanting out of Raw.

He's always in the right place on the card he should be at any given time, and they don't make him do things that make him look like an idiot. The only exception is that he seemed to be doing nothing on Raw, so I totally believe this story.

AJ and I are similar because we left Raw in similar ways. He left because of Heyman and I left because Hey man it sucks.

Anderson was actually really good in New Japan, he had some good matches and he can talk. He had like 2 good singles matches but a majority of his run was clogging up the tag scene with bad ones. I don’t miss him and Gallows in NJPW at all
