So out of 17 who accused him, he's suing 3? Looks to me a lawyer can poke holes in those stories, chill any other accusers, and use beating 3 stories to discredit 14 others. This is how abusers function. I represented the abuse in court and believe me, mattering what Judge they get, this could work out for Joey.
I would like to see someone represent all 17 women in a matter against him, but it's so hard, those incidents happening behind closed doors. Usually, and this is where Disco Inferno is wrong, social media is the only place victims can get the justice that's avoided them to this day. Ask any lawyer who has represented rape victims in court, and they will tell you how awful it can be.

That would mean Ryan would be making $240,000 per year. I can’t see Impact shelling out that much for him. Maybe one of the other companies mentioned. With how much Ryan worked on other indies, sought other revenue streams, and promoted himself he could conceivably get to that number if combined with what Impact was paying him. But then as has been mentioned COVID-19 would have thrown a wrench in that anyway. The lawsuit breaks it down like this: Lost revenues from Bar Wrestling in the amount of $1,500.00 per month from distribution and streaming services and $2,000.00 per event with two events per month; Lost revenues from merchandising in the amount of $1,000.00 per month; Lost revenues in his Patreon account in the amount of $3,000.00 per month; Lost revenues in his Cameo account in the amount of $500.00 per month; Lost revenues from Twitch account in the amount of $1,000.00 per month plus subscription shares and tips from subscribers; Lost revenues from Wrestling Performance Bookings of $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 per month. He’s going to have a heck of a time proving all of that. I take it these are all based on previous amounts earned which all would have been pre-pandemic. Even if Ryan was an angel most of these revenue streams would have been affected in one way or another. Probably the one he would have the best shot of making a case for is the last one which is the big one since I believe Impact fired him directly as a result of the allegations. Even then he would have to prove that all the accusers he is suing lied to intentionally harm him.

Wait...so fake Razor had a penis gimmick too? Either way, I don't think he's gonna be available for the role. Like I said before, we're working on getting a link to the Afterlife. We've reached Bizarro World, World 63, the Wide World of Sports, and Yoshi World.

I would love to see him substantiate that amount of lost income.
And if I understand, the onus is on him not only to prove that the allegations are untrue, but that they were made with malice aforethought and with the intention of damaging his career.
Good luck man. Even if you win, this is the death blow for your wrestling career, and potential future employers are going to have a blast when they google you.

Apparently one or some or all of them had made accusations anonymously. Not sure which as I haven’t been following that closely.

Can people in this forum NOT speculate about legal proceedings? Unless you are a legal professional of some sort, you have no idea what the hell you are talking about

He knows he is going down so he is trying to take Impact with him? Ahh good, we can finally found out if Joey Ryan is (even more) full of shit or Impact are the worst negotiators in history.

Can people in this forum NOT speculate about legal proceedings? Unless you are a legal professional of some sort, you have no idea what the hell you are talking about Huh? There are some on these forums who insist on defending every single accused wrestler in the name of 'innocent until proven guilty' no matter the circumstances. Why they choose these hills to die on is anyone's guess, but it does seem to be a usual set of suspects that tend to get riled up whenever we dare side with the accusers.

Him wanting $10million in damages just shows that this is just a spiteful power play by him. Combined he would never get that much out of all three of the. He's doing this just to hurt them.
He's done after this. He might end up like Vic Mignogna where he still gets some work but i can't see any major company wanting anything to do with him again.

If we were talking criminally, then sure he deserves to have a trial by jury on the accusations. But this is a civil suit filed BY HIM where he is the one on the offensive and putting the alleged victims on the defensive and seeking money from them. They may very well countersue him for sexual assault (if that’s what the three individuals accused him of, I haven’t read the documents yet). Also by suing 3 individuals, is he admitting by omission that the all of the other accusers were telling the truth? Yeah... that only works if he was being taken to court by the accusers... not Joey trying to sue them. Disco ain't very bright.
