One of the local indies has booked 2 Chikara guys for their October show. Got Frightmare and Gentleman Jervis coming in to work the Halloween themed Battlezone show. Good to see some CHIKARA folks still getting bookings. Well, the ones who weren’t assholes anyway Watching the rapid improvement of some of the mainstays who've kept active, I find the whole "Quack half-trained people on purpose" thing more and more credible. Max Zero, Hatfield/McCoy, Edith Surreal... even Solo Darling seems to have bumped up a step since the factory closed. Who do people think is the biggest star who was active in Chikara in the final year? Makowski? Edith Surreal? AVGPW? Nightingale?

Quack always trained CHIKARA guys and gals in lucha so they really struggled outside of CHIKARA. The early guys who did have success away from Quack also had training outside of WrestleFactory. Heck people like Green Ant were told to get bookings away from Chikara and outside of his gimmick to have a shot

Same goes for A Very Good Professional Wrestler breaking his leg. Willow has been on fire just about everywhere I see her now, particularly Beyond.

Updated the OP to what the thread currently more brings up and discusses with CHIKARA dead and the sort of residual fallout for the wrestlers who used to be associated That being said: Please give me more of this group together. I'll look right at you AEW. You've hired a ton of CHIKARA already!

If they become an ROH Mainstay it'll be nothing but good for them I can still dream about Ultramantis AEW commentary though...

When AEW announces Trios titles I NEED Incoherence at least in the Qualifiers for it They and Ultramantis Black were big reasons Trios Wrestling got legitimate in the states imo. Spectral Envoy vs The Young Bucks/Mike Bennett was one of the coolest Trios matches ever done.

I know Punk stole the weekend, but this reunion was huge for me. I miss seeing the gang together.

It's been said a long time that Hallowicked has no real desire to be a full-time pro wrestler, and that's the only thing that's kept him from hitting greener pastures... though I guess it's possible that might be changing now that he's hit probably the twilight of his career. Frightmare is a complete mystery to me: I've never heard anyone suggest he's ever wrestled as some other character, but he's always been really good in the ring, too. And yeah, UMB as mouthpiece or commentator would add to any company he worked for. I kinda think all three are actively choosing to not get hired for longer term things.
Although, ROH would give them a much lighter schedule than AEW and kind of seems like a perfect fit. This weekend proved that although their gimmicks are a bit silly, they're not jokey, so they can fit in with more serious wrestlers.
UMB actually wrestled recently for Camp Leapfrog, which is... Chikara for gay stoners? I think? It's a pretty baffling company and 50% of the wrestling matches are just atrocious, but the former Cajun Crawdad is killing it, which is bizarre but fun to see. Anyway, UMB looked like he was having a lot of fun and was in great shape, so you never know.

I think Mantis is another guy who had a lot of opportunities that he passed up either out of loyal to Quack/having other interests. I remember him having a deathmatch back in the day and a lot of companies clamoring to get him booked but it never happened.
The former Dasher got a tryout at the PC either right before or during the pandemic if I'm not mistaken. Could see him start to pop up again in more visible places... just has to work on that name.
It does suck that so many in CHIKARA just didn't get chances elsewhere because of being known as close to Quack/Chikara wrestlers having a reputation among other people of not being able to work.

What's changing about that now is all the CHIKARA guys showing up in WWE but especially AEW A lot of companies and promotions going "Holy shit all these guys came from one place? Who else came from there?? Let's see them"
