Demolition had some seriously odd face paint designs until they settled on what would pretty much become the standard.   |

When Jeff Jarrett lost his golden locks in a hair vs. hair match at Summerslam 98, I feel like it helped legitimize him as an Attitude Era midcarder. Before that he had his goofy country singer gimmick(that incidentally enough he denounced when he returned the previous fall only to go back to it) from the New Generation.
Once he got that haircut, he dropped the country gimmick and started gaining an edge that he didn't have before.

I never like the bell bottoms but it also reminds me of her 2006-2009 run where she fizzled out

I'm surprised Rhea Ripley hasn't been mentioned yet. And Scott Steiner to me is one of the biggest examples of this before his "Big Poppa Pump" days he was a great wrestler that couldn't cut a promo to save his life. With this new character he's able to do the cool in ring stuff combined with his brash and insane promos

I think Ripley’s done this twice, to be honest. First with the initial change from her “blue-chipper” babyface look in the first Mae Classic to the heavy metal look from the second Mae onwards, then her going to the platinum blonde hair with the darker makeup this year. She looks like an absolute killer, like.

Nakamura's evolution from Super Rookie to King Of Strong Style. He was fantastic in the ring but it wasn't until he became The King Of Strong Style that he was truly a star.

As for the man he’s stomping? When he switched from the too small trunks to the camo skinny jeans (not the camo tights, which didn’t translate well) with the bulky gold kneebrace over the outside and combat boots instead of wrasslin’ boots? That was Ciampa’s peak look in NXT
