So I watched the third season. I'm kinda glad it's the final one. It had its moments but, honestly, it felt like it was running on fumes. Plus it seemed darker and more cynical then usual. And why do a special holiday episode when all the episodes are just gonna get dumped on a streaming service at the same time in February?
That said, I'd love a Pinky & The Brain special where they resolved the Julia story.
Oh, and a Gigi Soda spin-off. I think there's potential in that.

Finally finished it.
Sad to see it go. Especially after 3 seasons. Back in my day, this show would be on 5 days a week. A Season would be like 50 episodes, so a three year run would be well over 100 episodes :-(.
Hopefully it ends up hbo Max, so between that, the tiny toons revival, the batman stuff, I’d gladly sign up for it

Without having seen the 3rd season and now not being so sure I want to see it, while the revival had its moments, it did feel like it was trying just a wee bit too hard to be topical in one direction and nostalgic in another direction that wasn't really working for the characters. It felt like it was being written just for nostalgic 90s kids, and maybe it's just me, but so many of these revival series feel like they're coasting on forced nostalgia versus actually trying to do anything new or in the spirit of the original series.
