I feel sorry for Southampton hopefully they can pick themselves up again.
Arsenal no defeats in 8 lose to Wolves no wins in 9. Great stuff....
And Sheffield United won again! They couldn’t survive could they?

Bugger.
Still, only two players unavailable for the next match, eh?
I'm sure we have a couple more goalies we can stick on the bench to keep the other two company.

Part of me feels bad for Southampton because they've now taken two 9-0 curb stompings in a little over a year. Part of me doesn't, because they were dumb enough to employ Ralph Krueger at one point.

Good old Liverpool. Dominant away wins at Tottenham and West Ham. Home loss to Brighton. Next up, Man City at Anfield. Oh dear.

If Man City win at Anfield I would be prepared to write Liverpool out of the title race. With Man City also having a game in hand I think it’s going to be too much for Liverpool.
Dias & Stones have been a revelation for City at the back and their once dodgy defence is now looking much more secure.

City have really hit their stride and are looking pretty much unstoppable right now. As a United fan I'm hoping for a draw or even a Liverpool win, but I'm expecting City to keep steamrollering on.

If I was a manager and faced a park the bus team who have no intention of leaving their half, I'd instruct my players to keep the ball and short pass it around my own half for 90 minutes and never attack.
That would be preferable to the inevitable 1-0 sucker punch defeat.

Just a brutal capitulation by United.
Two blown leads in a match you were in complete control of.
But the DCL goal at the death is unforgivable. Firstly, a terrible foul by Tuanzebe to needlessly offer Everton a final chance and then just horrific coverage on the set piece to allow DCL to even get in on goal.
Really disappointing. And to make matters worse, Pogba is hurt now.

Tired of reading about players being racially abused on Social Media at the moment. A lot of Man U players seem to be suffering this. If you’re not happy with their performance fine but no need to bring anything else into it. Players are going to start getting petrified that a bad performance will lead to horrendous abuse. It’s just football for f*** sake.

If it's not abuse being hurled at the players it's jackasses thinking "If they don't want to be racially abused they shouldn't have social media" is a legitimate argument.

Lol at the noises Carragher made. Sky apologise for bad language but that was far more inappropriate for kids to hear.

And that’s that then I think. Man City are going to win the league again probably. No way Liverpool are clawing this back.

Bizarre decisions from the Liverpool GK today. He must have lost his mind.

FA Cup 5th round starts tonight with Burnley v Bournemouth at 5.30 UK time followed by Man Utd v West Ham at 8, the former is on BT Sport over here with the latter on BBC One
Tomorrow sees Man City travel to Championship side Swansea in the early kickoff, the all Premier League clash between Leicester and Brighton and Sheffield United’s potential banana skin against Bristol City are at 7.30 UK time and the tie of the round between my team Everton and Spurs is the late game. 3 of the 4 ties are on BT Sport, the Sheffield United game is on the red button on BBC
The final 2 games are on Thursday as Wolves face Southampton in the early game and Chelsea travel to Championship side Barnsley in the final game, BT have the former, BBC the latter
ESPN and Sportsnet have coverage of most if not all ties in North America

bournemouth and manchester united enter the final eight with wins ... well obviously ... a 2-0 defeat of burnely and a 1-0 after extra time over west ham proved to be ... well ... how they won apparently i think that is how it works

ooOOoohh
manchester city just set a domestic record of FIFTEEN straight wins in all competitions, overtaking the 14 that 1891-1892 preston, and 1987-1988 arsenal had!
the record breakers (tm) achieved this by defeating swansea 3-1 in their last 16 fa cup tie

leicester sneak in to brighton's bedroom, and nick some socks out of their drawers ... or win 1-0 with an injury time goal! sheffield united continue their brilliant run with a 1-0 victory over bristol city and everton and tottenham have a quiet evening, only scoring nine goals between them and everton winning by 5-4 in xtra time, so nothing to report there ...
two more games to finish off the 5th round also the fifa club world cup reaches it's climax with al alhy v palmeiras for 3rd/4th, then the final between bayern munich v tigres, who are the first mexican side to reach the final!

and the final two places in the quarter finals of the fa cup are filled ... with TEAMS!
and those teams are SOUTHAMPTON, who beat wolves 2-0 and CHELSEA, as they won over barnsley by a 1-0 scoreline
and we have the draw for the quarter finals too
Everton v Manchester City Bournemouth v Southampton Leicester City v Manchester United Chelsea v Sheffield United
also in the fifa club world cup
AL-ALHY defeated palmeiras 3-2 on penalties, after drawing a blank in normal and extra time
but the winners in the final was ... BAYERN MUNICH ... who had to rely on VAR a second time (the first to chop off a perfectly reasonable goal for offside) on a goal that was questionably offside (imo) and score the winners medals with a narrow 1-0
