Yes, it was a bad decision, but get a grip you overdramatic bell-end.

Sergio Aguero is leaving Man City at the end of the season. It makes sense for both sides but man, it’s going to be weird when he’s not there.
And yeah, can’t really go without posting this.

Seems like an end of an era for Man City when Aguero leaves. Say what you want about spending their way to the top but Kompany, David Silva, YaYa Toure & Aguero were great long term investments by City. Excellent recruitment.

I’ve had an axe to grind with Gareth Bale for almost a decade because I felt he dived playing for Wales against Scotland in two separate matches (Rightly or wrongly I can’t remember ha) although I respected his sh******ery with regards to his whole Real Madrid situation but he’s sound once again in my book for single handedly trying to elbow racism out of football ha

Germany got beat at home by North Macedonia. Thus reinforcing my belief that, unless you're playing against a bottom of the barrel national team, if your country wins in international competition be happy and don't ask for more. The age of the big national teams steamrolling anyone from mid-tier on down with no chance of an upset is over. (this is just me still steaming at people claiming that Portugal should've won by 5 or 6 against Azerbaijan the other day)

Thst was Germany’s first home loss in a World Cup Qualifier since Liverpool England beat them 5-1 twenty years ago.

Aguero is imo the best striker in the history of the Premier League and that was an amazing goal to win the title but man I can't stand Martin Tyler.

I know Newcastle have been bad but at the moment it doesn’t look like Fulham have the bottle to stay up. 4 defeats in a row now.
And looking very likely that Norwich & Watford are making an immediate return to the Premier League. If Norwich can sort their defence out hopefully they will be a bigger threat this time.

If Norwich can sort their defence out hopefully they will be a bigger threat this time. Norwich deserve a lot of credit for not sacking Farke last season. Most clubs in the position they were in would have pulled the trigger on him. Looks as he is rewarding the loyalty the club showed him. But then again it looks like Watford will come back up to so what do I know!

They did well to hold on to Pukki, Cantwell & Buendia and the rest of the Championship can’t seem to cope with those 3.

Leeds with 10 men for 45 minutes beats Manchester City with 12 men for the whole game.
Seriously, disgusting officiating that sent one of our players off for getting the ball in a tackle, and let's Stirling off with intentionally stamping on Raphinia's ankle and Meslier's wrist when neither were remotely defensible.

Knew Leeds were winning when I saw Man City’s lineup. Ake at the back and Zinchenko in midfield. Not formidable stuff. But Leeds did well to win with 10 men.
You would expect Chelsea to challenge for the title next season with their form under Tuchel. The West Brom game seems like a blip.

I looked at their team sheet and I knew they took TOO many key players out for a team as sprint heavy as Leeds. Plus I think being down to 10 actually helped us, because it meant we didn't go for a single break for them to counter on in the second half until they equalised and Raphinia decided "yeah I'll just go" about 85 mins in

So here are my thoughts on the two big VAR decisions over the weekend:
- Diogo Jota’s arm was offside. That is clear, but my question is what potential advantage would that possibly provide? He can touch neither the ball nor a Villa player with his elbow without a whistle being blown. There was literally no advantage that he received. It’s one of those nonsensical rules. It was entirely immaterial to the goal that was ultimately ruled off.
- The McTominay decision was farcical for two reasons: A. I didn’t think it was a foul - Son initiated the contact and McTominay was trying to brush his arm away and B. If it was a foul, then certainly it’s a second yellow and a sending off. Somehow, they managed to get it wrong twice. Just farcical stuff.

The Wenger Rule should be implemented, so that if any part of your body capable of scoring a legit goal is onside, then you're considered onside.

chelsea and PSG through the champions league semi finals
the london club lost against porto 0-1, but overall their 2-0 victory in the first leg was enough
le rich francais also lost by a single goal to bayern munich, but those dreaded away goals in the first leg put them through
also northern ireland women reached the european championships for the first time ever, winning 4-1 aggregate over ukraine, they join russia and switzerland
