Klopp still being a top lad. It was good to see him not deviate from his previous comments but I think Jamie carragher might have over sold him breaking with his bosses a bit.

Can we now please have a tidal wave of players from the twelve clubs doing what Milner just did. “I don’t like it and hopefully it doesn’t happen”.

So... A team that just got promoted last year arguably got the better of both Liverpool and City in the space of a week.
I'm just saying but either the Super 6 aren't that Super, or they play down like idiots.

This whole season can just get to f***. So embarrassed to be a supporter of one of those 12 teams, especially given our league performance this season.

I know Messi and Ronaldo are the big dogs.... but if the majority of players come out and say no, doesn't that kill this? I know money rules, but it's not like they are losing wages if this doesn't happen. I feel like this is way to Americanize European Football. I got really into Club football because of the pro/rel bringing new clubs into and out of the top leagues. I get ownership doesn't like putting all this money into their clubs with the chance of getting relegated, but that's part of the allure and keeps you putting improvements into your club. I wish it was like that in America (even though that means my Chicago Bears would be toiling around in the equivalent of the Championship or possibly League One in American Football).
Also, none of these teams ever have to worry about relegation. I guess the point is losing out in the CL/EL, but that's part of the game.

The owners are cowards. They make this decision alone and let the managers and players take the heat in interviews.

Klopp got a bit heated with his criticism of Gary Neville’s criticism, but I understand why he did so and that is to re-iterate the point that this is not in the hands of the staff and players from these teams. Although most football fans with any shred of intelligence already knew this, it bears repeating over and over again.
Neville was right though about Klopp not being able to say what he wants to say and that if Klopp could, he’d say pretty much the same stuff Neville has said.

Didn’t Madrid city council wipe Real Madrid’s massive debt a few years ago or am I misremembering that ? The president of Real Madrid florentino Perez more or less admitted that they are in shit financially and this ESL will help.

Yeah, Klopp's hands are tied, and I'm sure deep down he knows Neville's ire isn't directed at Liverpool as a whole and he's simply doing his job and protecting his players and staff. I'd love for the managers of the 12 to be able to speak freely, but realistically they'd simply be signing their own contract terminations if they did. Also, I've never seen so many Liverpool supporters openly agreeing with Gary Neville. It's truly bizarre.

What a bizarre world we live in. I felt you could see his annoyance start to show when he talked about the warm up tops he said wouldn’t wear and said “you don’t need to tell us.”

Props to him, really. I can imagine it won’t be an easy position for a lot of players to take considering but Fernandes doing it, the guy whose basically helped keep United where they are, basically makes it easier for others to take his side.

Look, I know it isn't that simple, but these managers COULD speak out if they really wanted to. Everyone knows the managers and staff/players had little to nothing to do with this. Therefore, I don't believe any of them would be torching their careers by speaking out. They might just have to take a small paycut and continue their career at a "non-Super" club. I don't know.... I just feel like the players and coaches/managers have a lot of power here. At the very least, there should be discussions before this becomes a reality.
