What a header from goalkeeper Alisson to win the game for Liverpool in the last minute.

Only just realised Liverpool could win their last two games and miss out of Champions League qualification. If Chelsea beat Leicester and tLiverpool beat Burnley, it’ll be 66 points each going into the final match. Liverpool could beat Palace that day but Leicester could thrash Spurs and go through on goal difference.

Smart money says City make Tottenham an offer they cannot refuse, even if they would prefer to sell him abroad.

Yeah it has to be City. Barca/Real can't afford him and Juventus might not be able to offer CL football which theoretically leaves PSG, Bayern Munich or the English clubs, of which City feels the obvious destination of the lot.

Pretty much. PSG or Bayern are the only realistic options abroad, but if Kane doesn't want to make his family leave England then no amount of negotiating will change his mind. That leaves City, United, and Liverpool. Liverpool may not be able to offer Champions League football next season, and it remains to be seen if they are anything more than a flash in the pan and are on their way back to being perennial nearly men. United can offer Champions League football, but serious question marks remain over whether they're really capable of challenging for the top honours Kane wants. Maybe if he's just one of several £100 million+ signings, but with Covid gutting United's profits for the last 15 months the financial firepower is probably not there. That leaves City, who will not only be able to afford any price Spurs demand, will have room in their squad with the imminent departure of Aguero, have Kane's regular England strike partner already on the books, and can realistically say they can potentially win literally everything with a goalscorer and goal creator of Kane's quality in their team.

Absolutely, I just can't see the Glazers giving the green light to bankroll such a signing like Harry Kane. You'd think they'd do it to appease the fans given the circumstances but they've already proved time and time again that they don't give a shit about the club, only in their assets. Liverpool's recruitment strategy in recent years suggests that they wouldn't pay the fees he would command at this point in time. Arsenal would be hilarious but lol no. Chelsea would be interested but I'm not convinced it's the right move for him or them. There is however a big striker-sized hole in City's squad come the summer, he will be playing with some of his England teammates, an opportunity to work with Pep, they have all the money in Dubai to pay whatever he demands - feels like a no-brainer.

Roy Hodgson is set to leave Palace in the summer. Frank Lampard is the favourite to take over.

So this got confirmed but I missed it, FOX is premiering a docuseries called "Welcome to Wrexham" for the new TV season, covering Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as co-chairmans of Wrexham Football Club.

Chelsea beat Leicester to go third. Liverpool can go fourth if they win at Burnley tomorrow.
Leicester's final game is at home to Spurs, while Liverpool end the season home to Palace.
It would be a heartbreaker if Leicester miss out on Champions League qualification.

I knew that Allardyce would ditch WBA. He'll hang around waiting for someone to get sacked from a PL team next season.

Ruben Dias wins the Football Writers player of the year. Fully deserved he has been the difference this season for Man City defensively.

Maybe not on the last week, but they were in CL position most of year only to finish out.

I knew that Allardyce would ditch WBA. He'll hang around waiting for someone to get sacked from a PL team next season. Did WBA actually want him to stay? I mean, his only worth over the past few years is keeping teams up and now that little record is over.
