That entire Paul London and Brian Kendrick tag title run. Those dudes had mediocre matches almost the entire time and weren’t over in the slightest but you listen to podcasts and fans and they act like their title run saved the division and breathed new life into Smackdown. Didn't they lose it off TV?

I liked them, but they only had such a long-ass reign because there just wasn't much depth at all in the division. There's no chance they would have been a top face team if you didn't have scraps like the New Pitbulls with Kid Kash and Jamie Noble, and the freaking Teacher's Pets.

The Starrcade 97 ending. Was it dumb? Yes. But even if Sting had won clean as a sheet he was still gonna be the guy who drew more & was better suited to chase then be the champion. So even there was a clean win more than likely Hogan (or another heel) was to getting the belt a few months later. Sting was never gonna be a long time champion.
