Per Frightful: -Omega's time off came at the right time as he has been able to put a huge amount of work into the game down the stretch here. Rukus is another name who has done a ton of work as well. -Current roster sits at around 50, with some "unfortunately notable omissions," though people like Owen Hart, CM Punk, Danielson, Adam Cole and Ruby Soho are expected to be in the game. -DLC is being discussed, though unconfirmed so far. -Game is in the polishing stage, especially character models and such -THQ Nordic is involved but apparently that has been a minimal involvement. They're definitely gonna need DLC imo. A lot of wrestlers you can add later in DLC packs that people would absolutely pay for to add to the rosters. |

I don't know if they feel differently from a business perspective, but I think building an engine that allows them to constantly update and upgrade would be better than trying to put out a new game in another 2-3 years. I'm OK with a 50-person roster if you tell me that I will eventually get a couple dozen more down the line, kind of like Smash Bros.

Yeh companies like EA,NBA, FIFA,WWE can get away with it because there is a lot of suckers to buy every new version that comes from being the biggest names and having years of branding. I dont think a new company can afford to piss away fanbase by doing yearly |

I’d have to think the small roster at launch will be remedied somewhat by DLC, especially if the game doesn’t end up having a yearly release cycle like most sports games.

I don't mine DLC for a roster qith 175 people. I can see things like a House of Black, Team Taz, or Tag team mayhem (Hardyz, Swerve and Lee, ReDragon) packs.
Danhausen better be day 1 or get his own storyline pack however.

EDIT: Not a bucketload of stuff but Kris Statlander and Nyla Rose are in the game, there's a ref engine so they showed off Aubrey in the game, the game will also be out on PC and the name is indeed called Fight Forever.

Yeah, I feel like if it was something bigger, it'd likely be a Games 2.Show episode or something like that so I'm not too annoyed. The ref engine is pretty neat considering the roster of people they have on hand for that. |
