About the scenes where Ace interacts with The Master {Spoiler}She says he was still half cat when she saw him last, yet he knows her by her real name 'Dorothy' and is aware she fell out with The Doctor. So does that mean there were more unseen encounters between Seven, Ace and Cat Ainley after Survival? Big Finish never bothered with Ainley's Master and reverted the character back to Geoffrey Beavers' decayed Master when Ainley proved unavailable

I finally got a chance to see it and I really enjoyed it. I never saw original Who but I appreciate when they bring back old companions. It makes the world feel more lived in and it makes sense that many of them would continue on.
That said, I really wish I hadn't heard the rumours about who the next Doctor would be. It ruined the moment knowing what was coming.
I do hope we get to see more of Yaz in the new series even if she just pops up a couple times like Martha did after leaving. I just wish we could have gotten at least 1 season with Jodie under RTD. She was a fantastic doctor and it would have been nice to see her with a proper writing team.

He'd probably have stuff to say about One and Two's companions too despite not having met them. He did have unfettered Matrix access not long ago so it's an easy way to explain how he knows stuff, although the idea of him just frantically Googling people to find out their trauma is also very in character.

One thing that bothered me was during the regeneration scene at the end was that Doctor’s clothing also changed..
Which has never happened before (I think), I’m sure they did this cause they did not want to take away from the moment by having the next Doctor dressed like Jodie’s Doctor in the final scene. But they messed with series continuity to do that.

But they messed with series continuity to do that. It happened between the First and Second Doctor, so it's not unprecedented. Moffat once wrote this quite horrific take on it: {Spoiler}"As for Doctor Two... well, his clothes regenerated with him! No, it's true, he just woke up in a new outfit. And stop for a moment, really think about that. No-one's properly worried about this, except me. I've lain awake at night, I've fretted. The First Doctor's clothes regenerated into the Second Doctor's clothes. What does that mean?! I regret to inform you there is only one possible explanation - throughout his first two incarnations the Doctor's clothes were an organic extension of himself: strategically placed flesh flaps, with the appearance of coloured fabric. This, and only this, can explain their regenerating abilities. Deal with this, fandom - throughout the 1960s, Doctor Who was naked!!
Oh, but the horror doesn't end there. The freshly regenerated Third Doctor arrived on Earth and collapsed. Next thing we saw, he was waking up in bed in a night shirt. Oh, dead Lord, what savagery did we miss? The nurses must have wondered why this strange man screamed in pain as they cut his clothes from him..."

Moffat intended to write in an explanation for the clothes changing into Twice Upon A Time, but cut it for time

To be fair, moffatt showed us that without proper guidance he becomes a hack. This is hardly the first terrible take I've seen from him regarding Doctor Who. Also, it's hardly the only explanation. He'll unstable molecules from marvel could work. His older incarnations were aware the end was soon and so wore those clothes knowing they would alter as needed. Younger incarnations didn't wear them because they always thought they had longer. I literally just made that up on the spot and it's far better than his body horror.

A little snipper from "Liberation" the comic strip that picks up immediately after the events of Power of the Doctor {Spoiler}
