There is zero reason anyone should allow Kurt Angle to wrestle in 2020. I don't care what he says or if he signs the most comprehensive hold harmless waiver in history. The man has shown countless times that he has zero regard for his own well-being He was immobile/bulky in his last few matches sure, but does he have a long-term injury that should keep him from wrestling? He’s sober now too so if his body is in shape and he’s not injured (neck, concussions, etc), then why shouldn’t he wrestle? He’s “only” 51. Reason why he shouldn't is because he has no control over himself and nearly killed himself competing during his time post WWE.

I'm pretty sure that he can't turn his head at this point due to the amount of work that he's had done on his neck. He's also a recovering addict who's biggest trigger is competition-induced injuries.

Reason why he shouldn't is because he has no control over himself and nearly killed himself competing during his time post WWE. Do you mean with risky moves or are you talking about his substance abuse addictions? Both, and the root of everything is that he's the ultimate hypercompetative nutjob that comes with being an undersized ex-high level amateur wrestler. I come from a family of them, we need to put hard limits on any sort of competitive activity because without them people will have to be physically separated.

Davey Boy Smith Jr has finished up with MLW it seems like. Time will tell if AEW will bring him in. God I hope they do. I wasn't sold on him until very recently, but now I think he's great.

They're better off letting WWE have her if they want her and focusing on the likes of Rosa.

I have a feeling she'll end up in WWE, especially if AEW are going to have a working relationship with Impact.
Plus, you can't tell me her vs. Charlotte won't be a WrestleMania Main Event.

Nah I doubt it. While I wouldn't be outright shocked if she showed up, I think she'll sign with wwe

WWE is probably the better fit for Tessa. I am sure plenty of the wrestlers would try to be civil and professional with her, but I feel like WWE would just make more sense between Charlotte and Becky if she's coming back eventually.

Tessa signing with AEW versus WWE would lead to very different outcomes. in the former they'd probably not reign her, they'd probably just fire her the minute she becomes a problem, which wouldn't take long. WWE might be a better fit because they'd probably try to get her to behave before cutting their losses too, which also probably wouldn't take long if she still hasn't grown the f*** up.

Completely selfishly - hope she goes to WWE because she is yet to demonstrate not being locker room poison.

Far be it for me to want someone to go to WWE and spend the rest of their time being paid to do nothing...
...I sort of want Tessa to sign with WWE, throw a strop and then spend the rest of her contract being paid to do nothing.

AEW's pickiness/stinginess with hiring women will probably save them from the trouble that is Tessa Blanchard. Like, I don't really worry that a company that's proceeded carefully with maybe signing Allysin Kay is going to ignore all of the reasons to not hire Tessa.

Like I said in another thread, I think Tessa would make a lot more sense in WWE for both sides of the equation. WWE's locker room is a lot more established, and Tessa is not going to get away with her shit with Sasha, Charlotte, Bayley, and Becky there. If she tries big timing them, she gets put in her place and either matures or she becomes very irrelevant very quickly.

I doubt she even gets to the point of working with them if she doesn't get her attitude in order first. If WWE hasn't given that spot to Io yet they sure as shit aren't going to just hand it to Tessa.

I could see Tessa ending up in AEW, but I feel like it'd be more so they could also sign Daga. Would give Omega and The Bucks a chance to get some of their buddies from South of the border to visit up North and get some exposure, while potentially giving them some new, exciting matchups.
If she behaves herself that's great, if not I don't think they're going to think too much on cutting that experiment short.
