My only concerns about this entire thing is that while the build is very good so far , that whoever they got to fill the role of head boss lady is not gonna be able to fill the expectations of the build...especially if it is Karen Q who while I enjoy her work does not come off to me as someone who strikes this much fear into anyone but if she can prove me wrong than all the better but on paper I hope it is not her. And the other is where in the f*** do you even slot this entire thing into the show , the build logically would have to have them go after the top titles because anything less and we are treading Retribution geekery but the title picture is so packed I do not see any room for this act. This angle already has one advantage over Retribution, and it’s how they’ve been presented. |

The storyline has been escalating perfectly in terms of intrigue.
First Xia is on a losing streak
"Hmmm, probably building to a heel turn"
Then Boa shows up with mystery letters.
"Ah cool, maybe some sort of stable"
Xia mysteriously disappears, Boa gets spooked by dragon graphics and an old man writes on his hand.
"Ooookay, not sure what that was about"
Regal calls to Boa's house, dude looks like he hasn't slept in days and is terrified.
"This is interesting"
Boa and Xia look like they've spent the last month in a crackhouse and are terrified at the feet of this mystery woman?
"Where the hell is this going!?!?"

And now this week... The wise old master was trying to drown Boa and Li. Then it ended with them getting hit with kendo sticks (?), but it sounded like there was a sword sound effect. Are they going to be straight up horror zombies? Queen Triad is looking like something straight out of The Ring or The Grudge. |

Man. I cannot wait for this reveal. It’s going to be REALLLLLLY interesting to see how they continue the momentum in a live setting, because these vignettes are A+ level stuff.

Between the Kross and Keith Lee promo for their title match and these NXT has someone who actually knows how to film cinematics and not just poor cheap attempts and imitating the style.
