Whoever it is, and with the way they’re presenting it, doesn’t need to wrestle at all. NXT could have a straight up actor playing this part of a badass tyrant just doing vignette style storyline and promos. I would still be okked on this. I think they’re starting to realize again that characters don’t have to wrestle or take bumps to really work a storyline. I hope, anyway. Honestly, it's one thing that always kinda annoyed me about the original Bray Wyatt gimmick... ok he's the creepy cult leader... why is he the one wrestling? Cult leaders don't get their hands dirty... they have people to do their dirty work. |

Really hoping we get swerved in this scenario and they end up being a big time babyface faction atleast within the womens division. let them debut against THE WAY Theory pairs off with the old man and he’s like “Yeah, I got this”... and he gets whupped because he’s the most dangerous one of all. I like old badass martial arts masters.  |

I wonder if the Old Man is going to transfer over to the live wrestling world, or will live in vignette world.
He did make one live appearance to give one of Boa or Xia their summons, right?

All I have to say is that this is an awesome way to repackage wrestlers. Not just having them off screen for a while and then comeback with a different look or focus. This whole created backstory is amazing and makes me care more about Xia and Boa as characters.

I really hope they can back these vignettes up with whatever they do live. It’s a big ask, because these have been really really really good. |

WWE has filed for several new trademarks in the past week or so. PWInsider reports that the company filed trademarks application for Tian Sha, Shi Hun, and Shi Zui on December 24th and Valentina Feroz, The Hand, and Shou on December 30th.

PWInsider reports that the company filed trademarks application for Tian Sha, Shi Hun, and Shi Zui on December 24th and Valentina Feroz, The Hand, and Shou on December 30th. Everything except Feroz (new name for a development talent that got squashed on Weds) seems to fit. |

I was gonna post about those names days ago but wasn't sure how to word my thinking.
Because on one hand Tian Sha, Shi Hun, and Shi Zui sound like names that would be associated with this group but there are 3 names...two of them are possibly the old man and the leader but whats the 3rd?
My only other guess is that Xia and Boa will be renamed and the old man will remain with no name.

Another squash for Xia this week. But the interesting thing is that we now apparently have a name for the Triad, as the entrance chyron identified Xia as a member of “Tian Shi”.
