This angle with Xia Li, Boa, an unknown elderly man and now a mysterious female overlord type that has put the fear of death into Li and Boa has actually been bubbling along quite nicely, and now it seems like there’s gonna be a new female talent getting a monster presentation rub out of all this.

Rumor mill says the mystery woman is Karen Q, who WWE recently signed. And by recently, we actually mean like two years ago, and broke her leg not long after the Mae Young Classic. |

They showed one of her eyes and alittle face. I'm not super familiar with Karen so I couldn't tell. I wish I knew how to do computer picture stuff. I'm a 32 year old boomer😢

Assuming it’s Karen, this is a huge way to get her over as a big deal right from the start. These segments have been fantastic.

I hope whoever is playing our Triad Empress Overlord has enough ability to hang with this god-tier presentation. I don’t know the last time I’ve been this hyped for a mystery reveal.

With all respect to Karne Q I don't think a monster character really suits her. She's pretty small and ehr character has always been more of a bratty chickenshit heel or spunky babyface. I jsut don't see her as somone Xia would be afraid of.
Meiko would fit the character a lot more with her style and aura but she's Japanese, and I don't think she'd need the gimmick and they haven't really ever debuted big-name Japanese talent this way.

Whoever it is, and with the way they’re presenting it, doesn’t need to wrestle at all.
NXT could have a straight up actor playing this part of a badass tyrant just doing vignette style storyline and promos. I would still be okked on this.
I think they’re starting to realize again that characters don’t have to wrestle or take bumps to really work a storyline.
I hope, anyway.

Yeah I heard it was Karen Q but isn’t she younger than Xia and Chinese-American?
Maybe cause I’m Asian, but kind of odd for two mainlander to be taking orders from an ABC younger than them and there’ll be a noticeable difference in accent if she speaks in chinese

My only concerns about this entire thing is that while the build is very good so far , that whoever they got to fill the role of head boss lady is not gonna be able to fill the expectations of the build...especially if it is Karen Q who while I enjoy her work does not come off to me as someone who strikes this much fear into anyone but if she can prove me wrong than all the better but on paper I hope it is not her.
And the other is where in the f*** do you even slot this entire thing into the show , the build logically would have to have them go after the top titles because anything less and we are treading Retribution geekery but the title picture is so packed I do not see any room for this act.
