Well, Colts proved me right for everything I said about them all season In what way? By being one or two plays away from possibly beating the #2 seed? They marched up and down the field on them despite the Colts receivers (and especially HBs) getting a case of the drops. Did Frank Reich make a few calls I would not have? Probably. Those choices cost the team 4 points in a 3 point loss. Did the players choke a few times in the big game? Yeah. Blankenship missed a short FG in a 3 point loss. Turay went offsides in a play where he HAD to know that he absolutely could not do so and cost his team at least 4 pts (letting the Bills get a TD instead of forcing them to try a long FG in what wound up being a 3 point loss).

Rivers said if he don't return to Indy he probably retires If I'm the Colts, I make a run at Carson Wentz in the off-season. Don't laugh. Wentz, under the watchful eye of then-Eagles offensive coordinator (and current Colts head coach) Frank Reich, was a borderline MVP candidate in 2017, throwing for 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, leading the Eagles to an 11-2 record before he tore up his knee. Reich could be just the coach to rehabilitate Wentz's career. And it's not like Wentz, at age 28, is done or washed up. He had an admittedly horrendous 2020 season, but he's been very good or pretty good in the two years since returning from injury. With Reich as his tutor, Wentz could return to his 2017 form and be the final missing piece to the Colts' Super Bowl contender. It's readily apparent that the 2017 Eagles' offensive success was largely (almost exclusively) attributable to Reich and not Doug Pederson, Jalen Hurts is clearly Philadelphia's quarterback of the future, and with Wentz's contract, the Eagles are probably looking to unload him for cheap, so the Colts could probably have him for a song. If I'm in Indianapolis' front office, I'm seriously considering making a move for Carson Wentz, even if Philip Rivers decides against retiring this off-season. Russell Wilson is f***ing garbage. He most certainly is not. He's maybe the third best quarterback in the league. Look, I get that compared to Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback position is going to look relatively neophyte, but Wilson was a legitimate MVP candidate for most of the season. He's having a down day, but he's the kind of guy that most franchises would kill to build around.

Seattle over Rams: Wilson goes off today and it ends up being a blowout. Call me Sub-Zero, because this take was ice cold.

He's been garbage for roughly the last 8 games. He's finished the year poorly. How much of that poor finish to the season is on him and how much of it is attributable to the fact that his offensive line has been bad all season and it finally caught up with them? And for what it's worth, Seattle hasn't had an offensive line finish better than 16th (league average) in pass blocking since Wilson arrived in Seattle in 2012, according to PFF. EDIT - Wow, Seattle just collectively no-showed today. Offense, defense, special teams, just an altogether dud on the biggest stage. They deserve the L that's been foisted on them this afternoon.

He's being outplayed by a dude with a broken thumb, sometimes when you're the franchise you gotta find a way.

Rams beating the Hawks and giving the jets a better 1st round pick is not enough of an apology for losing to them and costing the Jets Trevor Lawrence

Being fair, this is bad for GB, worst matchup they could get...
Ramsey takes DeVante, no Bakhtiari...it'll be a struggle.

While I am fully rooting for Brady to do well, him losing a playoff game to Taylor Heinicke would be the funniest thing ever.

I鈥檓 sick of all these prognosticators saying that the Colts need to make a play for Wentz. The only reason, and I mean the ONLY reason to trade for Wentz is to complete an Osweiler-like trade where the Eagles buy cap space. However, there鈥檚 a ton more guaranteed money involved and it covers multiple seasons, making even the Osweiler trade way too low a price.
