They did 610K and .15 in 18-49. Both down from last week.

Let's be honest, Edge has never been a big draw and I say that as a fan. People point to a segment from 15 years ago but I think the promise of Lita nudity might just have had something to do with that number.

Edge was a big deal I think,I just dont think the NXT audience is interesting in old timers. It kinda goes against what the brand is. This rumble was the "oldest" rumble ever,NXT is basically the best place for a WWE fan to view young guys that might be the future.

Between last year's post-Rumble show, this year, and this, it seems abundantly clear that Edge just straight up isn't a draw.

Not making the top 50 has to be an embarrassment. The NXT on Wednesdays 8 to 10 pm is a failure. They have to be hoping Wednesday Night Hockey let's them move the show gracefully.

Quarter hours should be interesting.
Because there was a long drawn out Escobar match that seemed to slow even the live thread down and you have Thatcher in the main event.

Did they say Edge was gonna be on NXT on Raw or was it just a Twitter thing?

Beating a longer term champion like John Cena likely had more to do with it than anything Lita.

Calling NXT a failure on Wed is some one sided BS
It really is what it is. If you thought they were going pop up to 800,000 viewers and be number one on the night cause Edge was going to be there then you need to temper those expectations

Did they say Edge was gonna be on NXT on Raw or was it just a Twitter thing? Only Twitter. Promote that ahead of time on Raw and you probably grab another 100K viewers at least.

They never announced Edge was going to be on NXT, at least on RAW. It was announced like the day before NXT with no build whatsoever.

I’m sure they’ll be okay. They can siphon off some of AEW’s audience, make some money from USA that they wouldn’t make being on the Network, and ensure Raw remains the number 1 cable wrestling show for now.

Between last year's post-Rumble show, this year, and this, it seems abundantly clear that Edge just straight up isn't a draw. I think Edge was a feel good moment for sure but I also think he works best when paired with the right partner. Edge just showing up I don't think does much for fans I also have said this in the past with NXT and I'll say it again, NXT has their women's division down, but the men and tag team scenes just aren't gelling with the audiences for various reasons.

I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again, there is zero good reason NXT not to be promoted on Raw itself. Like, they have enough time to dedicate a bit to just saying when it airs and what day. Hell, have Edge throw a line about wanting to see what Finn Balor is up to at the Performance Centre. This stuff isn’t hard.

They bring in Edge for a single night and some thought oh he was gonna single handedly pop an 800k or more rating? when there was build or advertising for his appearance come on now somehow this is NXT is failure again geez. Meanwhile the competition is throwing every single thing at the wall doing mega crossovers with multiple companies, special shows what feels like every 3 weeks and not being able to hit even TNA 1.1 days consistently but yet that failing brand manages to always remain within arms reach of them ratings wise but failing brand I guess and all that jazz.

Which I don’t count because USA does those because, yeah, of course they will because they’re a network.

NXT isn't a failure but a victim of its own success, but that also has nothing to do with any ratings.
