Tremendous that Cody worked so hard to get KO & Sami together only to lose to interference anyways.

There is a reason he's a 16 time champ though. He would be the villain to help draw a massive crowd, lose the title, and repeat the process. His individual stories with each competitor had a climax where he would usually lose. No one would remember that 'Hard Times' promo Dusty did if Flair just beat him right away. Flair did retain the title at Starrcade like 2 months after the Hard Times promo, by DQ. Dusty didn’t beat Flair until 9 months after that promo.

H, Cody, and Heyman are all "the money's in the chase" guys, so I can understand why they went the way they did. Not saying I totally agree, but I understand

The finish here, was basically the same finish we got with Drew at Clash at the Castle. And that was in what, September?
That’s how little has progressed

To anyone that's still all "let's wait and see", like I said in the WrestleMania thread, it's been 3 years of LOLROMANWINS, WWE has superglued themselves to that pot, they ain't going to use it and they never will.

That’s how little has progressed This is basically the same event as Owens first loss years ago. It looks like Reigns is going to lose and then lol interference. It's been the same story for three years

Going yo call it in advance: when he drops the belt he will still be the center of the show. It will be Warrior/hogan and Benoit/trips all over again.

Having Roman win that match wa about as atrocious a booking decision as possible. Guessing they want him to reach the magical 1000 days with the belt, giving the fans what they want be damned

Nah man they let him hold his baby and give the belt to Brodie and still had him lose. This shit sucks That’s the other thing too, they set it up that he should win and built this story around it. It’s not even the first time they did that and then did the wrong outcome (Sasha coming out with Snoop Dogg being a big one) but it still feels messed up from a viewer’s perspective. Like…how can you replicate that sort of emotion again? It’s disengeous.

Nah man they let him hold his baby and give the belt to Brodie and still had him lose. This shit sucks Yeah I can't believe he had THAT entrance and still didn't win. I wasn't shocked at the Clash at the Castle result or Elimination Chamber, to me those all made sense in the grand scheme of things IF the goal was to put Cody over huge at Wrestlemania. My question is....now what? Because there is nothing I can see on the horizon for Roman that leaves me with the feeling of anticipation I had for last night.

I think maybe if Cody hadn't had his pec injury he might have won last night because they would have been able to pay off a long chase on the big stage.
At this point I think Roman is going to have to hold the title for quite a while longer because I feel like from a narrative standpoint he needs to lose to someone who has been chasing the title for a while and finally gets a match with Roman where somehow the Bloodline is prevented from interfering. The other thing is that at this point the title reign itself should end on a major show, and given that we just had Mania- the next opportunity is maybe SummerSlam, so another 4 months or so.
At some point if they set up a match at some point where only 1 title is on the line I think that will be a big tell that a change is coming.

"The true plan is gonna be Jey Uso vs Roman Reigns for the title"
Jey Uso- *Kills Sami Zayn again on Smackdown tonight after teasing a face turn and WWE Booking going "Nah", again.*
This whole Bloodline thing just feels like constant GOTCHA moments that at this point with no real rhyme or care, and given the show ended with Cole describing Riddle as a "NEW DANGEROUS ENEMY" of The Bloodline, we have officially gone on with this shit for so long, that WWE themselves have forgotten who this f***ing faction has feuded with before, even if they were feuding with The Bloodline and Roman significantly for months
This storyline is a flat circle lmfao

They’ve pulled this Jey Uso fake out stuff like six times now. I’m kind of tired of it at this point.
The Bloodline stuff just felt boring tonight.
