I wanted to smack the shit out of Sonny Onoo after tonight What did he do? I know like two years ago he tried conning an autograph convention promoter who was wanting to book Great Muta through Sonny where Sonny requested everything for both Muta AND himself like air fare and hotel but also tickets to Wrestlemania. That seems pretty scummy to try and get tickets to the PPV out of a promoter because I'm sure the guy already had Muta advertised, so nothing Sonny does surprises me. With that said, I did enjoy him in WCW. Maybe not a 1980s level manager but for 1990s WCW he was very enjoyable.

He did an auction right there in his house for the giant Machinemask that wwe lost but wwe had last laugh when a friend of Andre loan them the other giant Machine mask

For a company that is so possessive of their brand and copyrights, you'd think they would keep everything and wouldn't let any wrestler have the item. Not sure I blame Sonny, though. Not sure how he got an Andre Machine mask and when I google "Sonny Onoo Machine Mask" oddly it comes up with a picture of him and Ron Reiss as the Ninja in WCW so I wonder if it's actually that item. But if he can make money from him it then good for him I think. If anyone should have an Andre Machine mask it should be his final hometown in North Carolina that has some displays of his items.

They contacted Sonny and went all the way out to his house. When they got there he sprung it on them that he was putting it up for auction instead of just making a deal with them directly. He knew having WWE people there would drive up the bid amounts but Big Show took control and wouldn't budge past the highest point of their budget. Sonny tried to work the boys. As soon as the dude online won the auction I said "Man, you better hope that check clears."

Are the biographies over? I saw there wasn't one on this past week and it doesn't look there is one this week.

Things get lost in transit, and unfortunately get lost. Sonny was absolutely being rude. You don't spring an auction on them, like he did.

I’ve been a fan since I was five when Macho Man turned on Hogan.
I’ve known about Mania 3 my entire life and I’ve heard more about Jake vs. Honky more in this past week than I have my entire life.
That goes for same for Dream Team vs. Bulldogs at mania 2.

Man Brutus looks and acts rough these days. He's put on a ton of weight even since the hall of fame induction. And his body language and speaking just seems really off. It just seems something is really wrong here as opposed to getting older. Is this a long term impact of drug use? Depression? Has this been discussed anywhere? I met him before his HOF induction. He was polite but not friendly. His role for the show was special guest enforcer for a match. He does his shit, clips a lock of a guys hair, struts with the face. Struts out of the ring, down the aisle, veers hard left to the concession stand, buys two beers and back to his gimmick table. I think it’s the greatest moment in wrestling history.

I have a feeling that auction thing was a setup for drama on the show. Like they called Sonny and he told them he was auctioning it off already. I don't trust reality tv for anything That said the show better explained why they wanted "Andre's Passport" pretty well but it still weird to put in the intro.

And if I’m not mistaken, I believe it said on the show that the mask was worth $5000-$8000. And if I have that right, why would they only set the amount at $5000 and walk? I’m guessing they were legit like “f*** Sonny, we’ll never be able to work with him like professionals, we’ll be in the room with the others so we can get their contact info and when whoever wins, we’ll make a bigger deal with them and Sonny is spent looking like an idiot.”

After what Sonny tried to pull with the autograph signing promoter booking Muta a few years back, I don't doubt anything he does.

His wife posted something yesterday about him going to the hospital due to high blood pressure.

I’m not usually overly emotional but I almost cried during the André episode. Seeing how much he meant to Mark Henry almost got me
