{Spoiler}Yeah, kind of figured Renslayer's comment must have been from the character's perspective. The comics context is really useful and makes sense, thanks! Plus any time there's a time travel-based story I'm reminded of this: It always ends in a headache.

{Spoiler}Ms. Minutes in a romance? That is good But...with a variant of her own creator? That is bad. Maybe when she's redeemed they'll be a Loki/Sylvie/Mobius/Minutes dilemma

I'm a uk based supernatural fan, we had a 2 year gap between seasons while it swapped tv channels, I'm also old enough to remember life pre streaming where if you missed a show that was it and you had to wait 6+ months for something to be shown again.

Presented without context: {Spoiler}{Spoiler} What a gruesome episode. Not gonna lie…that was a f***ing fantastic episode. Best episode of any D+ Marvel show in a looooong time. Shit just hit the fan and is starting to set things up for Avengers 4&5 in a major way.

I know it was not a moment meant to be funny {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}But after Timley is all TIME TO BE BRAVE AND RUNS OUT OF THE BLAST DOORS....only to f***ing go out like wet spagetti had me laughing hard.
I am sure he will be back in some way because I actually like this variant genuinely good guy who is just bewildered by everything being tossed his way....kinda sucks he goes onto become who he becomes.

Aside from Seret Invasion, which I haven't even bothered with, I've enjoyed all the D+ Marvel shows so far, but Loki is just on an entire other level than the rest. I know it was not a moment meant to be funny {Spoiler}But after Timley is all TIME TO BE BRAVE AND RUNS OUT OF THE BLAST DOORS....only to f***ing go out like wet spagetti had me laughing hard. {Spoiler}I love that rather than retread the overdone trope of the valiant struggle they had him die (horribly) literally the moment he steps outside of the blast doors.

The stakes feel higher in Loki than they ever did in Secret Invasion. SI could have done so much more to set up the Marvels, Armor Wars and Thunderbolts and should have destroyed the worlds faith in the Avengers. Much like the timelines of all Marvel movies and shows will collide thanks to Loki…SI should have set the grounded side of the universe on that same course.

I didn't bother with Secret Invasion, do I need to know the backstory there in order to enjoy Loki S2? Haven't started yet.

Loki S2 continuing MCU TV's practice of making Episode 4 the "shit just got real" episode in a big way: {Spoiler} WandaVision: The reveal that Wanda is controlling everything
Falcon and the Winter Soldier: John Walker becomes a super soldier, kills a Flag Smasher on camera
Loki S1: Loki and Mobius are pruned, wake up in the Void
What If?: Strange Supreme completely destroys his reality
Hawkeye: Yelena Belova steps into the picture, Clint cuts ties with Kate
Moon Knight: Moon Knight dies, wakes up in the afterlife
Ms. Marvel: Kamala is sent back into time during her battle with the Clandestine
She-Hulk: Titania sues Jen for the rights to the name "She-Hulk" (okay, this one not so much)
Secret Invasion: Skrull rebels attack President Ritson, Gravik kills Talos
Loki S2: Ravonna is pruned, Victor Timely dies, the Temporal Loom explodes, and the TVA is seemingly destroyed

I'm gonna be honest with you: you probably don't need to know the backstory to Secret Invasion to enjoy The Marvels or Armor Wars, and those are all but direct sequels. Secret Invasion was the definition of filler. The show stopped being relevant before it even ended.

Brilliant Victor Timely theory going around… {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Brings up how one of the Scott Lang’s was also spaghettified before all of the other Lang’s appeared in Ant-Man 3. To make the long theory short…Victor Timely never became a Kang in the sacred timeline…he was just a brilliant boy until He Who Remains had Miss Minutes and Renslayer deliver him the TVA Guidebook to lead him to the TVA where he knew the Temporal Loom explosion would cause Victor Timely’s essence to scatter across the multiverse creating the Council of Kangs and He Who Remains himself…which is how he also ends up in the 31st century. He knew Sylvie had to kill him and that he would also return…it’s an ouroboros…and it’s going to keep on happening until the Avengers put an end to it in Secret Wars.

That tracks, but what does any of that matter to the guy and the gal who the show is named after?

That tracks, but what does any of that matter to the guy and the gal who the show is named after? My guess is that {Spoiler}just as He Who Remains used the TVA to win the Multiversal War, Loki and/or Sylvie will end up in control of the TVA, enabling the Avengers to win in Secret Wars, and Loki himself will replace He Who Remains at the end of time.

So, further historial reference: in the first season we discover that Loki was D.B. Cooper, Bit of a filler episode, but it does set things up nicely for the finale.

Hiddleston deserves an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe nomination. {Spoiler}Loki was the TVA failsafe. The plan was always from him to go get his friends and assemble the team.
