Given Loki is gender-fluid here as he is in comics and mythos, would it be a stretch to have him reference the time he gave birth to his dad's horse?

I was always going to be easy to please because Loki is one of my favorite characters in anything but I absolutely adore this show.

First episode is live. Brief thoughts: Really exposition-heavy, but necessarily so. {Spoiler}Hiddleston is so, so good.
Mobius comes across as the most chill boss you'd ever want to work for.
The retro-futuristic design of the TVA is beautifully done.
I got a kick out of the TVA office workers having dozens of Infinity Stones just lying around in drawers and being used as paperweights.
The rules of time travel and the multiverse are headache-inducing.
We at least don't have to be kept guessing who the villain is, as we did with WandaVision.
It's fair to say that since the multiverse plays a big part going forward, Loki (or the Loki he's hunting) quite possibly succeeds in burning the TVA down.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I was really hoping for Loki to find out what happened to him post-2012.
The question is which version of Loki is the rogue Variant (if it's Tom Hiddleston's Loki at all, not sure if they've confirmed that all versions of Loki are the same person at a DNA level)
My theory is that this is actually Loki's second go-around with the TVA (his reaction to seeing the Infinity Stones was priceless, he realizes they're useless, so Rogue Loki realizes that he can use actual technology, and not his powers to achieve his goal, it also makes you wonder when the complaints about "oh, the TVA could've jumped in and potentially saved Tony"), but I think what happened in Endgame was supposed to happen, and Rogue Loki found the time machine (likely when Cap was returning the stones to their timelines) and is returning to points he already knows the TVA is going to be, because he steals the reset charge, and I would bet that Rogue Loki plans to set off numerous reset charges at once to either rewrite history to ensure he gets Midgard, or he attempts to take the TVA itself from said Time Keepers.
BTW, for reference, not including the Tesseract itself, we see 7 Time Stones, what looks like 2 Space Stones, 3 Power Stones, 6 Reality Stones, 2 Soul Stones (which is very odd, considering we've only seen them legit two times), but no Mind Stone, which makes me think, based on what we saw in Infinity War, that the Mind Stone is actually legit technology, and I'm betting it was placed in the scepter by the Time Keepers, and we know Thanos gave Loki the scepter, which makes me think Loki was meant to have the scepter all along, and while we think that the Tesseract was what started this all off, what if it was the Mind Stone instead?
So much reference to illusion that I wonder if it's a certain someone impersonating Loki (and let's face it, who wouldn't want revenge against Loki prior to 2012, or even during the events of Dark World).
There's just so much to take in, and honestly, I could've bought this as a movie series, and all the time, I just imagined Korg screaming "Piss off, ghost" every time someone moved through the gateway or got reset (and I expect a video soon of Korg intercut with all those time jumps)
Sorry for the rant, I just loved this from start to finish.

{Spoiler}I was really hoping for Loki to find out what happened to him post-2012. {Spoiler}Loki's reactions of grief at Frigga and Odin's deaths, happiness at his reconciliation with Thor, shock at his own death, and dejection at the realisation that his true purpose in life is not to rule made for a truly outstanding scene. Hiddleston nailed it. {Spoiler}Well, the show establishes that the multiverse cannot exist if the TVA are able to do their jobs. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness's title alone is a gigantic spoiler that the TVA is either going bye bye, or are at least severely crippled by the events of that movie, so maybe Rogue Loki is trying to eliminate the Timekeepers altogether.
It's certainly worth noting that they keep circling back to the notion of freedom of choice. With the TVA controlling the flow of time they show Loki to be correct - freedom of choice is an illusion, including for himself. So, in Rogue Loki's mind, eliminate the Timekeepers and he's truly free to choose his own destiny.

Off to a good start. {Spoiler}And something for Agents of SHIELD anoraks, as the subject of Coulson's murder at Loki's hands is brought up and even shown. Not even a passing mention of Coulson surviving, but then, that'd defeat the logic of pointing out that the murder brought the Avengers together and would undermine the conversation Mobius was having with Loki

{Spoiler}The show works as a nice metaphor for how all the different non-MCU movies and TV shows have slowly been pruned away in favour of the sacred timeline that is the MCU.

It was really well done, Hiddleston is amazing, but I’m honestly pretty “meh” on the episode. Something just didn’t quite click for me, even tho there’s really nothing I can point to I thought was bad

That....wasn't what I was expected at all and I really liked how it went.
Really curious about how the series goes.

Absoloutley loved it but I expect alot of viewers to be wholely overwhelmed by how much info there was to take in but on the side of the coin there is a wealth of stuff to dig through and things to theorize about.

{Spoiler}All that was needed in the TVA expository cartoon was the talking clock winking at the audience as it talked about the multiverses becoming madness if the Nexus fell apart.
