Is the Luger doc not being shown in the US? For my station that has the network in Canada it’s still showing a new Icons episode for tonight at 8pm. Shhh..... Don't tell Nick Khan. I hope he doesn't know WWE Network exists in Canada and UK.....

So the last two are Luger and Bulldog. Thinking about it. Both involved drugs and death. So maybe Nick Khan doesn't want ANY negative press from their business. So any drug related deaths will no longer be acknowledged by the company?
You died by drugs, you are erased?

I think it bodes stronger for a sale of the company to a larger media conglomerate who can cut costs on documentary production through its own TV division. It also makes Vince's visit to the PC this week feel more like a farewell tour than a first glimpse at the developmental side. At minimum, Vince coming down to the PC sounds more like seeing things for himself than merely trusting Triple H to its workings - again, not necessarily boding well for the PC if saving money is on the company's mind.

It looks more and more like they're trying to artificially inflate numbers for a sale.

That sucks. I was really looking forward to the Luger one as he's one of the few legends that's never had a documentary about him.

I wish this was to refocus on home video (particularly BR docs and match collections), but I don't think BRs did that well despite looking considerably better than The Network, unfortunately. That, and everything is about keeping people on streaming platforms. Whatever the reasoning, I expect it to be anti-consumer. It's not that blu-rays didn't do well as much as the patent for blu-rays is still abnormally expensive to license and WWE ultimately pivoted to deliberately driving people toward the network. In a cost-cutting world, blu-ray lines being off the table stateside seems like something indefinite. It’s not like they were ever big in the Blu Ray game even at their peak, and I’m not sure about the US but they were a f***ing nightmare to find in Canada. CM Punk Best in the World, ECW Vol 2 My Name is Paul Heyman and Bret Hart Dungeon Collection I had to order online, never once saw them out in stores. WrestleMania 25 is the only one I own I actually bought in store

Honestly, this is one area where WWE is actually pretty decent in. Also, it sucks that we won’t get the Luger or Davey Boy Icons episodes, those episodes would have been much more interesting than the Beth and RVD episodes.
I also think this has to do with the Peacock sale of the network. I doubt they have much incentive to churn these out now that it doesn’t directly affect their profits.

I'd have an extremly hard time believing this, to be honest. Mostly because you'd think with the Peacock purchase, they'd want more content from WWE to make it unique compared to its rivals. They are going to pay them $5bn over 5 years afterall. It's likely as a result from previous budget cuts.

Has there been any legit reason that’s come out about why this is or is it just all “LOL Nick Khan” speculation?

Is this why we haven't gotten more Ruthless Aggression docs?

Hope it comes out soon as I'm legit interested in this, which is kinda weird cos he was never one of my favourites growing up.

Watch any Nitro from the start-up to his title win, he might as well be one of the biggest stars in the company. Then he loses the title and in a month, he's just another guy. Like, just the fastest of declines.
