Both stole the belt from Cena, but never the title. I would have loved to see R-Truth with a small title run even if it was for a day. I mean they had no problem doing that to Rey Mysterio getting the WWE Title but then getting bitched into defending it not even like an hour or so after winning it

Ric Flair was a former WWF champion when this photo was taken, even if it wasn't that version of the belt he had. So it kinda sorta counted. For my (second) contribution to the thread... Too bad he passed before any of that could happen. I do remember discussing with a fellow poster about Brian Pillman and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being WWF tag team champions for awhile. What would make this unique is they would've been completely different characters than they were in WCW as the Hollywood Blondes.

This one counts for Stu and Davey. Not for Bret. It says something about wrestler’s mid 90s fashion choices when a pensioners is the best dressed one in the photo.

I guess Jacques did hold this one in an official capacity with The Quebecers but it still counts, I think. Same with Shawn and Marty. Technically, this still counts. Because these are the silver WWF tags. Jacques had the gold version (post-1988) in 1993-94.

Then nobody could face her and then that will be the final nail in the already made coffin that WWE is in. Right now they are just putting nail after nail in right now before they are put in the ground but that would totally be the end right there

Something she no doubt learned from her husband and father. Who has time to think about logical things like, maybe bitch slapping all your male talent isn't a good idea if they're never getting any type of comeuppance against you. As long as Stephanie comes out of a situation looking good, Stephanie, HHH and Vince are all happy. And at the end of the day that's all that really matters in McMahon-land.

I know that this whole gimmick felt pretty forced for Lex, but he looks great with that belt. Shame he never got it. Honestly, if Vince didn't decide that he could make it better if they dragged the Lex Express stuff to Mania! I think the All American Lex stuff would have led to a decent run with the title for Lex... although probably not to the extent Vince wanted. Going to beg to differ. Luger made as much sense as anyone to chase the title, but the whole Mister USA thing was just way too cheesy and forced, particularly with the gimmick he had been doing up to then. It would have been fine to just turn Lex fave as the one to stand up to Yoko, you didn’t need to try to replicate Hogan.

Anyone got the picture of Umaga with the TNA Tag Championship? Found it. Shame Ekmo didn't get the chance to come back and make it official. Hope you're resting easy big guy.

Yay, way to have a relatively lighthearted thread hijacked by our McMahon issues! You forgot to mention that those were also titles Macho Man held, hmmmmmmm.... And funny, her father is much better at looking vulnerable and losing when he has to. Always has been. Even Triple H did the same at least more than she did. BTW, is this actually Ryback? Just curious, LOL.

In my defense Stephanie took a show that used to be about grown men "playfighting" as JR says, and went out of her way to make the show about her instead. 🤷♂️ And no, this is definitely not RyCrap lol

It would have been fine to just turn Lex fave as the one to stand up to Yoko, you didn’t need to try to replicate Hogan. my point was at the time the Lex Express stuff did work to get him over. If they let him actually win the title like originally planned it would have been seen as a decent but likely shorter reign. He was not going to be the long term replacement for Hulk like Vince wanted for several reasons but the Express Run would probably be remembered better regardless of how out of nowhere teh change was.
