What was the bleeped out word? Considering the show has unbleeped f-bombs, it must have been really bad. I think, given Chucky was up against a female victim, it was the C-word.

Im gonna be pissed if Lexi survives the season. She's so reprehensible She really comes off like a character that feels like even if she does a lot of good things during the season it's gonna be really hard to forget how much of an irredeemable dick she'd been up to this point. It's pretty bad when you're rooting for the psycho serial killer doll to kick your ass. On another note David Kohlsmith looks so much like a baby Brad Dourif that I thought it was his grandson or something lmfao Young Charles, right? He looks a little like my nephew! Anyway I think this is gonna be the horror trope where the bitchy girl finally believes the protagonist and they form an uneasy alliance to stop the monster, then end up having a kind of respect for one another.

Given how intertwined they've made Chucky with wrestling, I'm amused that there's a character named Lexi, especially because of the wrestling Lexi who's also associated with an evil doll.

Hate that theyre trying to make Lexi sympathetic now.
Just, no. She's worthless trash. Go Chucky.
His middle finger at the end made me laugh. So simple, but so funny.

I want to say this is some kind of horror trope speaking. Otherwise, WTH? WWDITS restored my faith in how Colin Robinson was {Spoiler}not dead , since Chucky is generally another great series, I hope there's some kind of payoff likewise.

If my father was murdered and then someone I hated dressed as him for Halloween, I would never show a shred of kindness to her for as long as she lived. And if Chucky were my friend, that wouldn't be long.

I get the feeling Jake will eventually get committed, which means we'll see a reprise of one of the more "shocking" scenes from the first film.

Really not a fan of them adding Tiffany and everything that comes with Bride-Cult to the show. Those films and characters are what turned Child’s Play from a horror franchise into a comedy one.

It's kind of crazy how for the first four episodes you could kind of get away with not having seen the movies, and then this episode hits. Yeah they covered it a little in the flashbacks but that doesn't give you the full scope.

Child's Play 2019 = Jaden Smith Chucky = Cobra Kai I actually didn't hate Child's Play 2019. I thought Hamill did a good job, the Buddi song was creepy and everything else was solid. It gets a bum rap because it wasn't the original but I thought it was a perfectly serviceable horror flick. It helps that Aubrey Plaza's one of the most beautiful people on earth, but I didn't hate it.

Yeah they covered it a little in the flashbacks but that doesn't give you the full scope. Yeah, they were playing the movies nonstop before the show so I guess they hope people see it. I honestly wouldn't have minded a pretty straightforward story where these kids defeat Chucky and then they tease either a new movie or a second season with Tilly and company that gives people a chance to catch up. I have faith they'll stick the landing, but there's a real chance the show goes off the rails as we head toward the finale now that they've introduced the crazier elements of the movies.

I just prefer the Charles Lee Ray version, and others do too. How about "divisive remake" instead of "bad one" like the Smith KK? Though...I still say they follow the same patterns. Karate Kid: ended on a mediocre/bad sequel, bad remake, redeemed with a sequel series. Child's Play: Ended on some corny sequels, divisive remake, redeemed with sequel series.

Yeah, that's a fair comparison. I guess I should also make it clear I'm not saying that it was a necessary remake because it certainly wasn't. But when you've got stuff out there like the Elm Street, Poltergeist, and Omen remakes, I was pleasantly surprised.

I think.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Michelle might be a bigger @#$&+ than Lexy ever was. Well, that's the beauty of being able to act opposite your real-life daughter, you get to let out all the frustration under the guise of acting (I'm joking about that, of course), the Alyn-Lind family is bred for acting. I did love: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}It took me a minute to realize that it was Fiona as Charles with Brad dubbing the voice. It's scary how much it fooled me.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler: Click to Show}This last episode also gives us a new piece of information different than what we learned in Cult, that Chucky can choose whether to split his soul or transfer it completely without need of the original, which now brings up the overlooked question of why Chucky hasn't put his soul into some other inanimate object, and add on top, a piece of lore that's been in front of us the whole time, but we never got the chance to see what happens to the host until now, and it turns out it's a fight akin to multiple personalities.
While some might have found it hokey, I love the fact that Tiffany didn't start out as Jennifer Tilly, and that she killed so hard, her voice changed. The concept of soul-splitting from Cult is so familiar that there's only one acceptable name for the pieces of Chucky's soul: {Spoiler}{Pieces of Chuckys soul can only be known as:}HORCHUX! With three episodes left: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}and Andy and Kyle yet to come, I really have to wonder if there is a bigger scheme at play as to why they went back to Chucky's backyard, which makes me think someone has a much closer link to Chucky than we know at this point.

I did not know either of those casting details. One of them I only learned when I saw it on Twitter.
This show is filled with surprises everywhere!
Lexy is becoming like Valencia from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was with me too. Grating and annoying at first, but warming up to her now that she is on the protagonist's side.
