I did not know either of those casting details. One of them I only learned when I saw it on Twitter. This show is filled with surprises everywhere! Lexy is becoming like Valencia from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was with me too. Grating and annoying at first, but warming up to her now that she is on the protagonist's side. I still want her dead. The prank with the dead dad costume was unforgiveable. It crossed too big of a line for her to be redeemed.

Fictional characters can be as ridiculously forgiving as much as they can hold ridiculously long grudges. I wonder if she does get killed to give her a Vader moment. Probably not as I can see them wanting a three-person-band of protagonists.

Well...she survived Jason in Jason X, but couldn’t survive Chucky.

Jennifer Tilly is a national treasure. My one gripe is I thought Nica's fate was just a little too cruel/disturbing given what she's already gone through.

Blurring my eyes to not see spoilers....
Well needless to say, season 2 has been given the green light.
Question...not remembering the original movies...does Dourif voice human Charles Lee Ray at all?

I haven't seen the later movies, so I'm not sure if they show flashbacks of Ray when he was alive.

That was f***ed up now they left Nica but guessing this is gonna be how they skirt about that whole paralysis and have her walking about next season.
If we did not see a body gonna assume Kyle did not die...or here is a fantastical theory the Tiffany doll is gonna end up having Kyles soul in it instead.

They seemed to use her as little as they had to and I don't think she's currently a professional actress as an actual job. Her Wikipedia page spans 40 years and is thin as shit. That's not a knock on her, they probably just "didn't have much for her" so to speak but the character still needed to come back for fanservice.

Also, that is Brad playing Charles in the opening scene in Childs Play, I met him a while back and when I mentioned im from Chicago he told me that they chose to shoot that opening scene on the coldest day of the year in Chicago and how he had to keep running into his trailer every second they wernt shooting just to get some sort of warmness as his outfit for the opening is not really made for a ice cold middle of January in Chicago.

This show was really fun, I'm glad it's getting a season 2. Having to wait long between Chucky projects always sucked.
Nica got done so dirty in the end, I can see her finally biting it next season or maybe getting put in a doll herself?

Really not a fan of them adding Tiffany and everything that comes with Bride-Cult to the show. Those films and characters are what turned Child’s Play from a horror franchise into a comedy one. Adding Cult was unavoidable since it literally sets up the series as a whole. Also Cult was really well received, lots of people thought it got Chucky back on track after Seed and the Remake Looking at how they played it, Tiffany is a fun but incredibly unhinged character that now almost has become as much an a enemy to Chuckie as Andy has, especially after the flashback plot twist. If they can turn their old shame per say into some cool stuff in the new age I'm all for it. My question js... When are we gonna see Glen(da)? Chuck mentioned them very early on in the series band with all the other callbacks I feel like they're saving that one... I'm just curious how they'd be presented as it sounds like the end of Seed was retconned but Tiffany possessing Jennifer has not been.

Some folks have questioned whether the red-headed teacher is actually Glenda in a human body which could be a nice little twist.

Seemed a bit cartoony in this series, so I wasn't sure. I’d say the dubbing was weird mostly because it was his voice coming out of his daughter’s mouth while she was playing him.

So according to the gravestone Junior's first name was literally just Junior? Not "[Dad's name] Junior"?
The last episode was weird. Jake and Lexy wake up many hours after the explosion and see news reports about fatalities in plural, but then it turns out that Kyle was the only death? Well, seeing how the intent of the bomb was to kill the person(s) entering the front door, I would assume that she died at least.
Then Jake goes to Devon's room thinking he's dead, only for Devon to walk in alive. So did Jake break in? Did he not encounter any other person in or outside the house that would mention the part of Devon being alive? If they wanted a scene like that, it would've made more sense if Jake got to the exploded house just a minute too late and then Devon eventually walked out of some bushes he had been thrown into or something.
And Chucky got lucky that there were some people in the theater who for some reason decided to keep sitting in their seats even though everyone around them had been running around in panic for the past half minute. Guess they really liked Frankenstein.

Nica got done so dirty in the end, I can see her finally biting it next season or maybe getting put in a doll herself? Yes, especially if Chucky is somewhere in there too. I can see him doing the "Ade due Damballa! Give me the power, I beg of you" thing to transfer into another doll...only he brings Nica's consciousness with him somehow. So we have one Chucky with two personalities fighting over the same vessel. Or you know, it's Nica herself who transfers her own soul. Chucky's franchise hasn't done good vs. evil dolls yet, have they? Comment, and a question.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}For those of you who saw the latest OSW Review....they aren't impressed with the series. They flash a "Don't bother" message on the screen when they talk about it.
Also....If Jennifer Tilly is a popular actress, how come no one recognizes her? Junior and his dad having no clue who she is is a glaring example.
