Congratulations, 4real! You won the first “Post that aged badly” award for 2022! Your prize? My sadness. I mean we still lost but very happy with the performance today. So many times we’ve played Man City in recent years and been nowhere near them but today was different. The defeat right at the end was heartbreaking but a lot to be proud of. And that is exactly why Man City are going to win the league again. They dug in when it counted. Oh, it still seemed like a positive performance, I’m just busting your chops.

Liverpool have requested the semi-final 1st leg Carabao Cup against Arsenal be postponed. Liverpool have lost more players due to Coronavirus and have already lost players to the African Cup of Nations as it is.

Looks like the Saints have finally replaced Gao, now maybe we can have an owner that will put some money into the club. As the article mentions, we have been treading water for the last few years, to be honest. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59866024

Dreadful performance by Arsenal tonight, deserved nothing. Annoying to be out this early but there you go.

Everton sold Lucas Digne to Aston Villa. I mean... ok!? WTF! Everton is kinda f'd on FFP terms, gotta sell players. And Digne wasn't on Benitez's good books.

Still.... the Rafa experiment has already failed for me and I'm nervous it's going to fail so much that relegation (maybe not this year, but as long as he stays, who knows) could be coming.

He was on a but of a hiding to nothing, to be honest. The fans were never going to accept him. Well, obviously if he won the league while stuffing Liverpool I'm sure all the indignation would be wiped away.

The Rafa signing was always gonna be a disaster. Even taking out the Liverpool connection it always seemed like much with Spurs with Nuno the team settled on someone more than anything else.

I mean... this might've been the worst hire in any sport I've ever seen. I don't know why, at this point, they don't give Duncan Ferguson a shot with the FT job. Things can't get much worse at this point.

Everton in deep shit. They won't be relegated, but if they were, they'd be the biggest PL club ever to go down IMO.
