If the middle of the lips are red and the rest of the face is black, that's blackface my dude. Not really. Go Google blackface. This only works if you hold that blackface is literally only minstrel show make-up, and that's not really an accurate uunderstanding of it. The seemingly yearly news story of some high school teacher getting fired for coming to school for Halloween in blackface shows them never looking like that, either. Nor does that meaning cover the weirdos who will put on a charcoal exfoliant, throw up 'gang signs', and caption their selfie with '#BLM'. Blackface looks a lot of different ways and holding it to the barometer solely of what it looked like specifically in a theatrical performance capacity that fell out of favour most of a century ago is missing a lot of the actual conversation. |

Not really. Go Google blackface. Go Google any modern blackface controversy of the last 20 years. To dispute it is like saying "but do you think he has hate in his heart?" Then please explain how that singler facepaint is the same as those? The guy legitimately only has red and black facepaint on. He not out there mocking a race of people. Blackface is when you purposely paint your face to be someone else skincolor while adding stereotypical features to portrayal or mock another race. So please f***ing tell me how some no name band wearing a black mask with red and black facepaint, singing a song from the f***ing 70s is blackface? |

Yeah it was inadvertent but suuuch a bad look, a but more red mixed in ans thus doesn't happen, but that combo, with the stripe that position, where it'll mostly be covered by the mic and his hands, no one mentioning it, probably because backstage where you can see the whole thing, no one thought. This needed like, 6 things to all go wrong and the stars all aligned for that last night. |

I didnt even think hey were doing it intentionally. They just thought it looked cool and didn't think about it which is fine. Nobody is saying the band are racists. I hope not at least. Also I still believe Swerve is gonna be the one to dethrone OC but TK likes to build (to a fault) and take his sweet time

About Sabu, the way he was booked last night it looked like an audible (like TK probably learned about Sabus antics after Dynamite), like others mentioned that his involved wouldve made more sense when Jericho/Cole match about end, Sabu is never coming back imo

Yeah, I don't see the "blackface". It came off more like he was going for a black metal thing, but just looked like a douchebag. It was Doucheface. The mask he wearing is similar to one of Corey Slipknot mask.  Ironically it considered one of worst mask that Corey uses. |

I did not thinkg of it as blackface as any moment, I also think the fact there is no racial/political undertone to the situation helped the fact. But as a white guy from south america ,it doesnt mean much of a opinion to the racial tension of north america  |
