I feel this is a good time to remind people there are some awesome TV showds and films just as good as anything in Hollywood from Europe, Asia and the rest of the world. One thing I learned a few years ago don't just dismiss shows or films because you need subtitles, there's lots of great stuff out there readily available on Netflix and other streaming apps. I guess that means demand for voice actors to dub non english language shows rising?

Could SAG-ASTRA members do voice work without crossing picket lines?

Wrestling being filmed on an Iphone gimble is going to be an amazing experience.

I mean, good. If they're deliberately being slow, might as well put down a deadline and make them rush.
If not, well, the entire industry will be shaken next week.

I guess if the strike goes to november, we could see networks be forced to import (and edit for time and content to make room for commercials) forign programs and make deals to air anime. Is annimation affected by the strike?

Is annimation affected by the strike? I said it before, they'll probably have stuff that was filmed but never aired (get ready to see the tv premiere of Black Bart (the blazing saddles tv show) starring Lou Gosset Jr!).

I hope it needs not come to that. But we'll see.

So it seems wrestling and sporting events won't be affected? Seems to be mostly an issue with major Hollywood productions.

I only really watch 2 TV shows, Atlanta and Better Call Saul, I swear if this leads to their next seasons getting pushed back even FURTHER....

I feel bad for north american actors during the strike as they'll have nothing to do but do voice work for cartoons and video games and dubbing forign language films

So we can look forward to WWE Raw: Live From the Alkali Flats of the Springfield Badlands, featuring a main event of Stingy the Scorpion vs. Professor Gas Can.

I mean, easiest solution would be for the studios to accommodate the demands of the workers which, again, aren’t that unreasonable in the substantial money age these companies are going through.

Yeah, this strike won't happen if the AMPTP removes their heads firmly lodged up their asses.
