Mox has been one of my guys for a while now. I think it's great that he's able to recognize that he has a problem and he's doing something to work it out. I have no doubt he'll kick its ass like he did Wheeler Yuta's.

Well f***. That's a lot, but it seems like he realized he had a problem and he did something about it. No rock bottom or public scenes or crimes. It takes a lot to realize something is wrong and pull yourself out of there before it becomes worse. Ya know, I wonder if the incident with the Raiders player made him think or it's just a coincidence

considering about a decade ago he was a f***ing smackhead I can only assume 2030 Mox is going to be fiending for chocolate milk or big macs.

As a new parent myself I totally get how it changes your perception of your own life. Really glad he is getting the help he needs so he can be there for his family.
No need to rush back Jon, you look after yourself first, we will be ready when you are.

I just remember the interview he did months ago where he said writing his book took him to a really dark place he hadn't been to in years just getting into the mindset to relive those stories
He had been looks quite haggard recently... more than usual anyways. Looks like he knee he was close to a breaking point.
It takes a big person to know they need help and an even bigger person to want to get it. Here's hoping Mox takes all the time he needs

Honestly, I hope he really takes his time. Hell, wait until May and come back at Double or Nothing. Take as much time as possible, for the sake of your family. I'm just happy the business has progressed so that a top star can be open about needing help, and stepping away. I feel like that's something """locker room leaders""" would frown upon and say snide remarks about "taking their ball and going home".

I was thinking Booker T, but yeah that works too.

It’s good that he recognized this now instead of later when the consequences could become much more extreme. Both for himself and his family.

Interesting timing with his book coming out. He gets help and it sells a few more copies because of the attention. Win-win...

I struggle with alcoholism. It's not as clear cut as getting wasted daily, driving under the influences, all the stereotypical stuff. It can be more invisible. When at my peak I was still going to work, still doing must normal thing, but I was drinking to annihilation every evening and keeping it secret from my partner. I'm glad he's getting help and prioritising that. Hope it helps and he's able to get sober Interesting timing with his book coming out. He gets help and it sells a few more copies because of the attention. Win-win... Thats real low man.

Happy Jon's getting the help he needs for himself, his wife and his daughter. A good person betters himself for his family, no matter how hard.
Can't wait to see him come back

Good for him. Get this handled before the baby gets older. I had my problems and now that I have a baby I cant imagine trying to be a dad with that hanging over my head.

Good on him to recognize there was a problem and get help for it before it blew up into a major incident unlike.... certain wrestlers.

I felt it was noticeable the moment Mox looked a bit bloated since coming back(reminded me of Scott Hall when you compare his 96/97 self to the rest of his WCW career). With that being said I wish Mox the very best of recovery, Alcoholism is no joke. Oh man, yah… one of the only AEW shows I watched awhile back he looked off and I joked about him looking like Santa because he was just very round and red in the face. Here’s to him getting better for his family. ❤️ There were also people complaining about the paradigm shift looking like a butterfly suplex in the last months, Mox not able to do hit finisher properly was already a sign that he wasnt healthy.

Interesting timing with his book coming out. He gets help and it sells a few more copies because of the attention. Win-win... I normally have you on ignore, but I just wanted to say you have zero class and should take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror if this is what gets you off. Putting that bullshit aside, props to Mox, hope he gets the help he needs. Alcoholism is killing my maternal uncle, killed my paternal uncle, and would've killed my father if he didn't have a horseshoe up his ass. So I'm super glad he's trying to get a handle on this.
