EDIT: There's multiple threads for this so if a mod can merge em or lock some that'd be good. I don't care if this one is locked.

Definitely read the whole thread from Tony. Best wishes to Mox on his recovery.

Yeh I didnt know he had an issue but glad he got help before it became a public issue, the fact he was able to privately recognize it speaks a lot.

I love Mox, I'm glad he's getting help and I'm glad he's allowing Tony to be public about it.

This just confirms something I already knew about Mox: He's got a better head on his shoulder than like 99% of the people in the business. I'm glad to know he's doing everything he can to avoid being one of th tragedies we all know to well. God speed Mox. Get clean and we'll be waiting for you when you do.

Wow. Hope everything is OK. He’s going through a lot right now with his book and moving, can’t imagine the pressure. Best to him and his family.

I devoured his book today. This dudes seen and done some shit. I’m the child of two recovering addicts that can tell you it’s no joke but sobriety’s possible. Wishing Mox the best.

Now that’s a father, changing his ways for the better of his family. I love Mox.

Well f***. That's a lot, but it seems like he realized he had a problem and he did something about it. No rock bottom or public scenes or crimes. It takes a lot to realize something is wrong and pull yourself out of there before it becomes worse.

Trying to duck Orange Cassidy huh?
Obviously joking. Sobriety and/or recovery isn’t easy. Hoping the best to my Cincinnati brethren

I pinned this in hopes that it would keep more threads popping up about this. I also chose to merge into the thread with the title that had the most pertinent information so no hard feelings if yours was first or anything.
*Edit* Not sure why I locked it! Was merging from my phone. Sorry about that.

I felt it was noticeable the moment Mox looked a bit bloated since coming back(reminded me of Scott Hall when you compare his 96/97 self to the rest of his WCW career).
With that being said I wish Mox the very best of recovery, Alcoholism is no joke.

There's been so many guys in wrestling over the years in a similar position who've bottled it up and let their addictions get worse, both to protect their spot and because they've internalized the whole culture that "real men" don't seek help.
I wish Mox didn't have to do this, but I can't be happier that he's chosen to deal with it this way, and this publicly. Brave man, wish him the best.

Oh man, yah… one of the only AEW shows I watched awhile back he looked off and I joked about him looking like Santa because he was just very round and red in the face. Here’s to him getting better for his family. ❤️

Best of luck Mox, you've identified that you have a problem and need help so take as long as you need. Everyone would rather you are happy and healthy instead of just you wrestling for our gratification.

I'm very glad he's getting help. Brave as hell to allow your boss to go public with it too.
