If that happens, and with the cameo this week, who wants to bet it'll be a backdoor pilot for a Heroes Reborn universe? They have borrowed elements of Age of Apocalypse and some other 90’s X Men stories, which Onslaught also borrowed from. They are setting up a reunion of Charles and Magneto. It adds up. |

I binge-watched all of these with a friend who had not seen it yet, and it's really good, obviously, even if we could not help but come up with absurd jokes, like that Charles founded Waffle House, which served as inspiration for the Danger Room.

Can't wait to start this show with all the good press it is getting.
But I'm currently going through the old TAS with my son. Next episode is the start of the Dark Phoenix Saga.
We also watched X-Men (2000). That was fun, and also included a vocabulary lesson when Wolverine says "You're a dick" to Cyclops.

Trust me, you're doing the right thing. Enjoy the ride. That flame-drenched teaser for The Phoenix Saga at the end of Out of the Past was a massive nostalgia bomb. Back when they played the re-runs in order on TV, you knew you were in for a good week when that came up. |
