What if the Armie Hammer lead Justice League that was canned due the writers strike had entered production after the issue was resolved? No Snyder, no re-evaluation of Whedon's behaviour and a legion of Snyder fans having to focus on their other love, 'ethics in games journalism.' subsequent outrage over Batman being a cannibal.

British centric one. What if Nasty Nick was never caught cheating on Big Brother? The fallout sparked interest in the Big Brother franchise, which in turn led to the Reality TV boom of the 2000s, plus if Nick wasn’t caught and went on to do well on the show, does he become a Richard Hatch figure and lead to British reality tv becoming more game oriented Ala Survivor I believe to this day that this was a setup, that either the producers arranged it or they knew and they ignored it hoping it would blow up. It got people interested and started Big Brother as the juggernaut it became. There were cameras on him at all times, there's no way the producers didn't know.

What would've happened to Mike Tyson if he didn't lose to Buster Douglas? How different would the world be if 9/11 didn't happen? Holyfield beats him, but it’s by unanimous decision. Tyson was much more of a bob-and-weave heavyweight in his prime before the prison sentence, so Evander has a harder time since he probably isn’t able to gradually poke him with the jab as easily as he did in the 1996 fight. What if Disney went with the more epic dramedy version of Emperor’s New Groove, Kingdom of the Sun instead?

Here's a domino effect one; what if George Lucas agrees to the Director's Guild demand and lets his name appear before the film title in Empire Strikes Back? If that happens, Lucas is not fined 250 grand and not compelled to leave the DGA. That also means that his preferred choice to direct Return of the Jedi, Steven Spielberg (who was in the Guild and who was not allowed to get the job because of Lucas' departure) does get it. This means no Richard Marquand in the chair and likely Lucas not having to be on set every day to supervise due to the former's inexperience with special effects. Which potentially means his troubled marriage doesn't completely fall apart at that point because he can finally spend time away from Star Wars with Marcia Lucas like she'd wanted him to. And the result of that?
A very divergent direction for the franchise and Lucasfilm. Not only does his quietly significant creative partner remain by his side (at least for a while), there's no loss of 50% of his fortune due to divorce (which affected his business plans) and likely a far different kind of hiatus from SW because devoting the bulk of his time to his daughter Amanda as a single father never happens. One DGA ruling goes another way and the history of one of the biggest multimedia franchises is forever altered.

If Ray Combs was still with us. Would he and not Louie Anderson be considered to do the Family Feud return in 1999? (And with no Louie would we run the gauntlet that led to Steve Harvey?)

What if Tim Burton wasn't ousted after Batman Returns and went on to make Batman 3, 4 and maybe 5?
I have a few for Survivor:
What if Mike Skupin didn't fall in the fire in the Australian Outback?
What if Candice and Penner didn't mutiny in Cook Islands?
What if Erik didn't give up Immunity in Micronesia?
What if JT didn't give his idol to Russell in Heroes vs. Villains?

Here's a big one: What if back in the 1960's Fred Rogers plea for the government to not cut funding to Public Television falls on deaf ears?

a domino effect one that just came to my mind, what if Cass Elliot never lives in Laurel Canyon?? This would mean, David Crosby never meets Graham Nash, this would also mean Stephen Stills, David Crosby and Graham Nash never sing together in her kitchen for the first time. This also means that David Crosby never meets Joni Mitchell and shows her off to everybody at a party Cass throws and thus Joni never gets signed, means that Joni and Graham never meet and buy a house which becomes a big hit song "Our House" Jackson Browne never comes to the canyon to meet Cass who introduces him to Crosby who asks Jackson to play him something and upon hearing him play goes "holy shit" and gets him signed. Cass never tells Linda Ronstadt about these musicians she knows looking for work Don Henley and Glenn Frey which Cass then introduces Glenn Frey to Jackson Browne and so they never write "Take Is Easy" together. Cass was also the one who told Henry Diltz that he has a big talent for photography and to go after that. Basically, Cass was at the center of so many bands thats its interesting to think about, what if Cass never moved to the Canyon?? No CSN, No Joni, No Eagles, No Diltz photographs and probably countless other groups too that formed at one of her partys.

What if Jerry Bruckheimer and Sylvester Stallone reach an agreement on the "Fair Game" movie adaptation? First off, no Eddie Murphy "Beverly Hills Cop", and Eddie doesn't have that opportunity to show he can carry a movie and not just be the smartass sidekick. Second, no "Cobra" script, and Cannon Films doesn't sign Stallone to a huge multi-movie deal, keeping Cannon's biggest stars Chuck Norris and Charles Bronson.
One I don't have answers for... what if the producers of "Remington Steele" agree to let Pierce Brosnan go make a Bond film in the 80s?

What if Janet Jackson doesn't have the wardrobe malfunction at the Super Bowl? It had a pretty big impact on her career and TV itself for the next few years.

What if Def Leppard kept Jim Steinman as producer for Hysteria? Would it still be seen as one of the top rock albums of the 1980s (commercially and critically)? Love Bites and Gods of War both have kind of a Steinman sound, so some of his influence must have rubbed off on the band.

An obvious one but what if Kurt Cobain had lived? How would Nirvana be regarded today? What would their post-1994 records sound like? How would Dave Grohl's career have played out?
One that seems less important in the grand scheme of things but I'm still salty about them cancelling it - what would Deadwood season 4 have been like?

I've always had a feeling that if Kurt lived maybe Nirvana take a sabbatical for a few years and the Foo Fighters become Dave's main focus anyway

What if Elvis Presley had ditched all of the toxic people in his life and gotten himself in shape before 1977?
What if Richard Pryor and John Wayne had starred in Blazing Saddles?

in 76 when Lorne Michaels offered a check for 3000 dollars for the beatles to reunite on SNL, John and Paul were actually blocks away hanging at John's place at the dakota and they legit were going to head down there with guitars caus it would blow everyones minds but then decided against it via fear of rust playing together, and they were super tired by then having spent the entire day together, but what if John and Paul legit go down to 30 rock and play a set?? I imagine Lorne would be running down the halls telling the cast the rest of the show is off until John and Paul finish, and I imagine NBC would have kept it on SNL if John and Paul were still playing as the show was set to go off the air caus how can you cut that off?? Just thinking about how big the rating would have been once people started calling others to turn to SNL caus its John and Paul together again!

An obvious one but what if Kurt Cobain had lived? the opposite end of this sort of question, what if Bob Dylan died in his motorcycle crash in 1966 a week after releasing Blonde On Blonde??

What if Seth MacFarlane had not missed his flight. People would probably look back on him, and Family Guy more fondly.
